Seems like a well built rifle. Problem is there is not ammunition available for it. Makes for a pretty expensive paperweight or club. Update : it’s been over a month & ive still yet to shoot this air gun for the fact that ammo access has been spotty at best. There was a drop that lasted for about 10 days and I was able to make a few purchases that have just now arrived so hopefully I will get to test it out soon. Also had to wait for a scope. I suggest if you’re considering this purchase or the purchase of any airgun over .25 cal get a few boxes of ammo before you get the gun & have the scope picked out if you’re getting this one as it has no sights. Will update after range day

Umarex has no limits to keep up with these mind blowing, jaw dropping pieces of engeneering marvel, this is my new favorite shotgun. The build quality is obvious the moment you pick it up, smooth action and light trigger is absolutely the best ever, thanks Umarex…

  • Missing the patches and the piece to hold the patches and that's the main reason I bought this kit. I would guess I was sent the old model when I purchased the new model kit. Very disappointed.

I really like these and they are very consistent in size. Also, fairly consistent grouping on targets considering they are BB’s. The only thing is that it can be a little more difficult for me to tell when one of these are loaded compared to a copper colored BB. The magnet piston in my BB gun is the same silver color as the BB’s. Not a huge deal, except in the evening when it is harder to see what’s in the chamber.

This is a REALLY good gun for its price, I haven’t had any problems and it works immediately straight out of the box (read the manual first!). The included BBs are really nice, they shot through the cardboard package that it arrived in when I was test-firing it from 8-ish feet away. I noted that it was very light, and the gun was somewhat quiet when firing outdoors. Dry-firing the gun shouldn’t hurt it. The slide is hard to pull, and when I was test firing, I noticed my hands were starting to hurt, either from the cold or from the hard plastic scratching against my hand from pulling the slide too much. I would advise against dropping the magazine on hard surfaces, as the bottom part can pop off of the rest of the mag, although you can fix it by sliding it back into place. There is a safety switch, which if flipped to the “S” option will prevent you from pulling the trigger. All in all, this is a very good gun for the price, highly recommend.

  • The Avalon Saber AEG came in safe and sound but the display box was badly damaged, and the "AEG" only came with a mag with no other accessories, not even a jamming rod...for the price of nearly $400. Now I'll have to do a inspection on the Aeg to see if it's even a gen 2 (True) Avalon Saber CQB. P.S the stock does wobble alot! Beware.

  • I had a spare rifle extension and just epoxied it into the red handle for pistols.. now it has a use..!

  • It is not too often that one can claim that they got their money's worth this day and age. This time around, I can say that this one is worth every penny. I needed a pellet gun in order to get some quiet trigger-time in my backyard and I always wanted another Peacemaker ever since I had a childhood Mattel. So, this one fit the bill and I am not a least bit sorry I made this purchase. It is a beautiful, reasonable facsimile of the real thing. I did some gun smithing to this piece and it is now super smooth. I polished all of the components of the trigger & sear, cylinder ratchet, loading gate, etc.. All those exposed metal parts that were painted black I removed the paint and polished to a high luster to match the rest of the piece. The loading gate was sloppy so I cut and lapped a round brass shim and placed it behind the circular pivot to take up the slop. I have a set of wooden grips on order, the sold 3-piece type. I intend to shape them down to size and rout out the backside of them to fit. There is lots that can be done to improve on a very quality piece. I have described just a few here. If you are into gun smithing, this is your dream gun. The sights are disappointing so I am looking for a set of adjustable sights that I can use.
