Purchased to mount a Hawke Airmax 4-12x40 scope on a HW97K. The mount is excellent quality, but I knocked off 1 star because it is wider than the scopes I was interested in. With simple modification to the mount (with a rounded file) I was able to adapt it to the Hawke 4-12x40, but it was just too big for the 3-9 and 2-7 scopes. So... I am happy with this mount for my specific application, but if I decide to go with a lower power scope from Hawke, I will need a different mount. The maximum tube mount length is 4.7". The Hawke 4-12 is 4.75".

My go to airgun. Keep in car without fear of expensive loss if stolen. ACCURATE. FUN. INEXPENSIVE PLINKER. I love to shoot grasshoppers, dandelions, water skippers, pinecones leaves tin cans,, you get where I am going, that's my idea of plinking in the woods. I have airguns that cost $2000 and down. I've shot competitively on a national level but this is the gun that I shoot the most and enjoy the most, try it you'll like it. Check out Kid Pellets YouTube video reviee on how to adjust the trigger it's a must do, one bolt remove the stock and one screw comes in from the back to the trigger. Take out all of the slack and it makes a sweet trigger. For pellets I found that JSB 7.33 GR and Meisterkuglin 7.0 GR shoot very well.

It was fun while it lasted. Broke on the night it came in. At first you think it’s nice and durable until it breaks. The seal broke on it for the CO2. I didn’t even do it to tight. I can’t even put a CO2 bottle in there without all of the air just going in my face.

Fun while it lasted, but the slide broke and slide return spring went flying.

Now this is my lightweight high velocity pellet of choice. Though its hard to see, the 6 in front were fired into water and had virtually no expansion. The tin alloy they are made of is lead free and super tough. Because of thier extreme light weight and no expansion this would NOT be a good hunting pellet. They appear accurate however. I dont intend to use theese often due to costs, but this would be perfect for indoor varmint controll because they are lead free and dont penetrate as much. The best use of theese would be for farmers and food service factories who need to get rid of pigeons and rats without using lead. If i owned a food service factory or warehouse i would issue theese to employees to crack down on pigeons in the rafters lol. All in all theese are a good supersonic pellet for certain applications.

  • ... and these were the most accurate

I like it but it has an annoying sound every time it moves. Be careful, the first shots are very strong, unfortunately I damaged my fence :/ umarexoutlet.com doesn’t let me upload two videos, but trust me the sound when you shake it is 👎🏼

The 2nd Bolt on the Barrel holding the main Piston Together Slipped out! Luckily my dad told me right away and I was able to find the bolt on the carpet before it got stuck in my dads boots and lost outside forever but this is the 2nd airgun that broke on him just today! After the Crossman SNR357 I just reviewed jammed on him earlier. Anyway for anybody else purchasing this airgun make sure to secure the bolts by making sure they are Tightly pushed in there by a screwdriver or secured by Super Glue like I did in the two example photos. Without it the barrel was just dangling helplessly and completely Useless after just a few days of use! Aside from the near major failure the performance of the pistol is decent for the price. It's quiet enough to be used at night without bothering the rest of the family, most of the time I don't notice dad using it. The aim is a bewildering bugger, shooting about an inch or two below the target you are aiming at using both front and rear sights. Yet somehow being easier to aim by just pointing and shooting with the red dot sight at the tip and just point at the target with it. Power wise, it can kind of shoot through seltzer cans? The holes it makes are like its tearing the can open instead of just penetrating through it like our other airguns. It makes Slits in the can on entry and regular blown out holes on exit, instead of just a normal hole on both ends. Handling wise, it's Very Comfortable to hold, the Germans knew what they were doing when they made this little guy back in the war, it's really nice to hold and aim with. It actually has us both looking for models similar to it.

  • i was on the fence about this because of the reviews, which is why im leaving one. When I bought this it had under 4.5 stars, (red flag for any experienced umarexoutlet.com customer) but I hope this helps the seller and customers because it is a solid product! The gun is heavy metal (not uncomfortable, but quality) when you open the box you forget it was only a 60$ plinker, and if you leave it around the house someones gonna think you got your hands on a real ww2 era firearm. Its bb only but holds about 20 in the mag, and a standard crossman 12g co2 cartridge will last about 3-4 mags before dropping its power output. Slide doesn't “blowback” but it is in fact semi auto - meaning no manual involvement once the co2 cart and mag are in place. If only it shot pellets… id give it 6 stars! unfortunately theres no open chamber so limited to bb’s. fully functional safety and a great tool for target practice / backyard plinking / safety training.

Overall, it is still a very satisfying gun. One bottle of CO2 can be used to complete 4 plugs in succession, 68 bbs. The gun will hit slightly lower, so when aiming, you need to hit a little higher and it will be very accurate. The only drawback is that the CO2 bottle is not easy to install in the plug. I wasted 4 bottles of CO2 to adjust how to rotate the nut correctly, and it also requires hexagonal tools to install CO2 at all times. I have three air guns. This plug is the worst design. You need to have a certain amount of hand-held ability to adjust the CO2 in the plug. If you are a rookie, you may be uncontrollable.

  • I have bought 4 clips and all lose co2 the seal does not hold and I even put oil everything like it calls for

The BBs are great and work fine, but they came all opened inside the packaging and I'm positive that I didn't get all 1,500 pellets. A bummer for sure, I wish people were more careful. My money wasn't broken, so why is my product opened and mangled? Jeez...

keep them in the packaging or in the magazine of use. remember PAVA will irritate skin on contact. when loading try to use gloves or dry hands. wash hands after handing and after firing. its like handling hot sauce the residue can irritate.
