    Really great starter

I received these pellets and about 1/2 of them were what was supposed to be in the can and the other 1/2 wee the domed pellets.

  • I finally got fed up with the varmints in our yard - they figured out the no kill traps and just plain don’t give a ****. As much as I hated it, I resorted to elimination. I also bought two targets to sight this in and after about 10 min I had it dialed in to hit a 1/2” at about 100’ regularly. Both targets available here on umarexoutlet.com (seen in pictures) Using crossman destroyer pellets everything has been one shot one kill. The one negative on this rifle is the trigger. It has a relatively hard pull and quick break. As others have mentioned, the scope is surprisingly good for something that is included. Update 6/22: I’ve had this rifle for some time now and stand by my rating. With a good hollow point pellet, nothing in my back yard stands a chance. It’s a great one shot rifle.

  • I shot about 16 rounds of these five on target n the rest on plinking and not bad for a wad cutter they worked great outta my gamo rocket rifle that can do1250 im not sure about the velocitys im getting but the trigger seems harder to pull with these but accurate. My target was set to 25 yards and i had no bench so all free hand i was quite impressed with what it can do with no bench A++ in my books on price and mostly everything!!

I decided to purchase this airsoft piece for one reason alone: Cross-Training. I'm a competitive shooter and carry a real firearm for self-defense. I always emphasize the importance of being proficient and this airsoft gun would allow me to train more consistently and takes things a step further from dry firing with its blow-back mechanism that can emulate recoil and allow for better practice for trigger control and rhythm for double or triple-taps. It's also great to practice drills to speed up the draw, sight alignment, and fire process. When I first got this piece, I was quite impressed with its aesthetics. It's got a nice flat dark earth finish on the frame and matte finish on the slide. Manipulating the slide feels smooth as a real 1911 and the trigger is decent. Not as crisp as many of the real 1911s, but it does a decent job. The trigger weighs in about 5 lbs and the reset is audible, but kind of mushy. The gun comes with an ambidextrous thumb safety which is great for left handed shooters, however, the spring used for the detent to keep it on safe or fire is quite weak. A slight tap can set it to safe or fire unlike my real 1911s that requires a little more thumb power to manipulate the safety. So one of the things I had to do is to keep my thumb over or under the safety lever depending on whether I wanted to keep it in safe or fire. Mag changes are pretty easy with this piece. The magwell could use some work or improvement whenever Elite Force decides to release a new version of this air-soft piece - mainly adding angled edges in the mag-well to guide mags into the frame with more ease. The sights are your standard three-dot sights; white, no fiber optics or any or that sort. However, you may be able to change them out for others, but I'd recommend not to considering the sights would cost you about as much as you pay for this gun. The slide comes with rear and front serrations that are great for press-checks. Disassembly is easy, you can either go about it as if you were to field strip a 1911 or pull the slide back and remove the slide lock/detent without having to remove the bushing. There is one issue I have, the spring is weak compared to a real 1911 that if I try holstering this gun in a leather holster that it would snag the slide backwards out of battery unless the thumb safety is engaged. All-in all, the gun is quite accurate. It needed some work on the hop-up, but a simple 2 minute process was able to get it running smooth and accurate. It's a great piece that I think could use some improvement, but it's practical and fun to shoot. For a little less than $200, you can buy this piece, some CO2 tanks, BBs, cleaning kit, and mags to start practicing. A simple tarp backdrop, tape, and targets printed on paper is all you need to start practicing in your garage.

I love the pistol. The sights are great, i especially love the green glowing sight. The handle and slide out for inserting CO2, if you put too much pull, it can pop off, which is a feature in case you need to have more hand movement on the screw for the CO2 capsule. Build quality is great, ergonomic and beginner friendly. Magazine is easy to load, and is a slim stick type of magazine (due to the handle). The safety on the right side is an issue. You cant really put this in a designated holster for the same handgun. So I recommend flexible or fabric based holsters. The slide does not rack back. The packaging is that evil sharp plastic, get a scissor or razor based knife ready. Comes with a manual (recommend reading it all before handling) and the pistol with magazine. Its also a great training gun, since its realistic enough to use for the 4 rules on firearms. I recommend this airgun, but I will warn you that this is NOT A TOY. Respect this airgun as if it was a real firearm. Thank you Umarex, and I will be buying from you guys again!

My son used his birthday money to but this. Second time he went to shoot it the slide came all the way back and off the handle and now the slide won't stay on to shoot it. Tried to return and umarexoutlet.com says it's not returnable. Only had it like a week and a half. First time shooting it he had a blast second time he took ot out it broke. What a waste of money

I received the Umax T4A TODAY. The product was used and very dirty. There was also ammo left in the receiver which was very dangerous. I am returning and receiving a new on Monday. I will update my review and rating if the product is new when I receive it. I understand things happen, but I was a little disappointed that I was not able to test the product out.

This gun is well worth the money, it's beautiful and looks and feels like a Glock!! Shots with accuracy and has a full blowback, comes with a 50 round magazine as well which is excellent! The fully automatic mode is ridiculous, and riddles targets to paper mache!! It's a must have in your airsoft collection, or if you only have one this should be on your list to buy!

This is only 300 count — NOT 500 count as indicated.

I purchased this as an extra mag, the co2 blowback valve stretches after one shot. It makes the valve stick out too far and hits the backside of the magwell. When there is co2 pressure it makes the mag difficult to remove and when you do, it releases all the co2. I took the valve out and tapped it back in place (no more stretch) and it lasted one round before it was malfunctioning again. Highly don't recommend wasting $40 on a cheap mag that doesn't work.

The pistol I got had signs of wear all over it. The threads on the barrel, the magazine (which leaked Co2), and the hammer in the back. This was not a new item as described in my order. Extremely upset!

Great pellets! I got these because my Gamo Maxxim was all over the paper with Gamo pellets. These consistently shoot cloverleaf or smaller groups, I will buy again.

It's a realistic powerful fun gun. Doesn't fall short of anything. Anyone who thinks otherwise is foolish.

  • The lid was loose, so it leaked other than that good product.
