I bought this gun and 12 extra casings to shoot cans and the occasional tarantula and I have been enjoying this gun greatly. It's accurate and well-made because I have been shooting it regularly. This gun has to be the best backyard plinking pistol I've bought because the shiny finish keeps it from getting too hot to grab in the hot sun, and the grip cover that comes off doubles as a hex key to remove CO2 cartridges which is VERY handy because I lost my hex key. It is worth every dollar.

  • Ares got it right when they introduced the striker platform. First is to understand one thing, you don't just buy the striker, you BUILD it. It's a good out of the box sniper with good fps and shoots straight. That's entry level performance which is fine if you want to keep it that way.... it will work great and be reliable for you. If you're like most sniper users you'll want to add on and or upgrade parts as desired for performance and looks etc. There are so many striker specific accessories which are available right now and it already stands out from the crowd with it's great design and style. The short pull is super simple and quick. The magazines are 45 rounds which is way more than avg, plus the mags are big and very solid and for sure will never break. Great mag design. A scope and an action army hop up adjustment wheel is a must when buying this gun fyi. The stock hop up adjustment requires use of the provided Allen key which is a dumb design. That's why I say get the quick adjustment hop up wheel parr to replace the stock hop adjustment. Very easy to take apart with the integrated Alan keys in the grip storage area. Super solid stock body and strong nice looking fluted solid barrel.... there is no way you can break this sniper, it's built like a tank vs something like a vsr 10 sniper for example. It's nice Ares added the ability to adjust trigger pull force and trigger travel, very nice. Wish it had more rails than the one top rail but adding more rails is pretty easy. Very robust and versatile you can keep the sniper simple and accurate as it is, or you can upgrade parts to further increase fps and accuracy. Sky is the limit. We upgraded the striker to hit over 600 fps and swapped out some stock parts and replaced them with the highest end parts available to get the absolute maximum performance outta this gun, such as.... upgraded dual bore barrel, 90 degree EdGi sear, AA hop up chamber, 70 degree decepticon bucking, omega nub, EdGi 600 fps NEMO tuning kit which includes top of the line spring, heat treated solid steel cylinder, guide pin, piston, cylinder head etc. The Striker now slings .46g bbs over 100 meters easily. When modified this sniper can and will outshoot all other snipers on the field with precision parts installed. Or you can just keep it stock and have an all around good shooting reliable gun which stays consistent, and is actually pretty quiet due to the long barrel and cylinder/piston design. The versatility of this sniper is what makes it great and a lower entry price point allows you to jump in and have cash left over for future mods. Worth every dollar. Buy it. Build it. Love it.

Idk what's going on here I CAN PEEL THE LABEL OFF but they seem to work fine...

  • So my Glock 19 Gen 3 yeah it came with one stick magazine, so you know I needed another one hopped back on the good old umarexoutlet.com found myself a new Glock 19 Gen 3 magazine and got that baby next DayED to my door. Opened it up saw that it was identical loaded it up emptied the mag went through a full clip just to see how the clip or magazine function and it was solid absolutely solid no sticking no jamming no flaws just like the one that came with the gun very happy will buy more. 5 stars

I am very confused why some reviews said this gun is accurate. Maybe the one I received is defective? Not sure, but the one that I received, the accuracy is rediculous. I have been looking long and hard for something that is; Pellet Pistol Blowback Reliable Easy to load Won't jam Keep in mind all of this is a moot point if the gun is inaccurate. My initial perception is that it is inaccurate. I first tried with copperhead bb's and they flew all over the place even at short range. Repeated with Crosman Premier Match, same results. Tried different pellet clips located in the mag, no difference. Tried resting gun while shooting, not much difference. Put a teenie tiny peice of bright tape on front site, no difference. Tried with Crosman premier wadcutters, better grouping, but still no where near c,ose enough for even plinking. I will return this since it does not seem to be working correctly, or this gun is just plain lousy. Loading the round bb clip worked the first time, now they just fall out. The pellet clips seem to work fine, but I am not a fan of this design (where you eject the mag and swap the round clips sitting on the mag). I shoot a Bersa .32, a Baretta Tomcat .32 and a Baretta 92m 9mm, so I know how to shoot and handle recoil, so the mild blowback is not an issue causing inaccuracy on my part.

Air soft BB’s and air soft firing weapons is all the rage in Japan and it seems it’s starting to be a sport that’s catching on here as well. The BB’s can be shot at around three hundred and fifty feet per second so they do go far. This bottle has five thousand balls and it weighs quite heavy. They also are used in a wide assortment of different air soft products. Being a premium product the BB’s go father and shoot straighter and the extra premium price it costs reflects it. But in competition any edge is needed and wanted. Four Stars⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!!!

  • This was a gift for my son from Grandpa. Just ok, up until the "plastic" barrel split on the seam in the most critical area and made the gun inoperable. I had to unscrew the barrel's pivot screw so the barrel would "fall away" so I could see what was keeping it from opening. It turned out to be the "spring loaded ball" that serves as the barrel's lock for lack of a better word, when cocking the rifle. (This is located directly under the barrel's opening where you push the pellets in) Photos speak for themselves. Hopefully Ruger doesn't start making their real firearms with such crappy design flaws.

*Edit to add a few pics. A Chronograph capture. Best 10 shot grouping (under a dime). And a 60 shot grouping from 230 bar down to 120 (the lowest 2 shots were for sighting in the ATN scope and 18 grain pellets) As you can see starting at 200 Bar I get 898 and 902 FPS and the airgun is just starting to get into the power band a few shots later around 190 Bar FPS where FPS starts climbing. Down towards 150 Bar is the 984 and 986 FPS data taken the next day. I used Baracuda 18.13 grain pellets for the testing peaking with 39 FPE. Decent amount of power from a compact airgun, also explains why it is so loud (almost 100 dB even with 18 grain pellets) Purchased directly from UmarexUSA for 390... for that price it's a good PCP but could be a lot better if you consider what the MSRP is. Short list of CONs... Magazine indexing issues... I have 2 magazines that will get jammed while cycling to the next pellet... have tried 14 different types of pellets; all are different shapes, weights, widths, and length; and all have this issue, the magazine tolerance is off and pellets can bounce around like tic tacs causing the jam. If I point the rifle upward and shake a little the pellets realign, I can then rotate the magazine to dejam and cycle the next pellet... really annoying for a "High quality, German Engineered and Manufactured" product. Cheap feeling plastic, every time I pick up the rifle I can feel the two halves "notch" into a new position. No way it is as nice or near "weapons grade" like all the youtube influencers claim it is... I need to remember influencers get these items for cheap if not free to give those glowing reviews to boost sales... Sound dampening is needed in the stock, making the airgun even more expensive and heavier if sound echoing bothers you. Moderator is just for show, even with 18 and 21 grain Baracuda pellets it's not very backyard friendly (almost 100 dB), please Umarex give us a working moderator or access to the threaded portion so we can install one that does work. No regulator... at a MSRP of 600 big ones, not having an adjustable regulator is a poor choice when the rifle was designed you could get sub 400 dollar PCPs with all the bells and whistle this is missing... given the sweet spot for filling my Reign .22 is about 190 Bar down to 120 bar giving me 40 or so extremely accurate shots... a regulator could easily give me an extra 70 shots if I could fill all the way up to 230 bar and shoot down to the regulated 120 bar where velocity starts to drop fast. Trigger from the factory is still being shipped while not adjusted correctly, no real "stages" just a constant and heavy 3 to 4 pound pull from the start, no "wall" to hit, just a random and sudden BANG every time. And the last con... we only have the one option for the Reign in the USA... over seas they have several barrel, regulator, and power options to choose from along with the updated M2 version. Why do we get the shaft? Now for the Positives. POWERFUL, it is in the 32 to 40 FPE range, with 14.66 grain Field Target Trophy it cracks the sound barrier (at least 1050 FPS at my altitude)... need to take out the FX Chronograph to verify actual speed on the lighter pellets, but my ears ringing can confirm over 1050. Accurate... with zero trigger time (or adjustments) I was able to get 2 ten shot sub MOA groups at 35 yards, and the first 10 shot magazine I used 5 pellets to sight in with the other 5 shots in a 8.5mm hole... extremely accurate... My barrel was clean from the factory only really needing one patch pulled through it... This barrel I received is also not pellet picky, so far everything from JSB Hades, to H&N Baracuda 18 and 21 grain, along with the light 14.66 grain H&H Field Target Trophy (5.53, did not like 5.55) are all giving 10 shot groups smaller than a nickel at 35 yards (off hand in the field shooter). I have a few more pellets and slugs to test but I think Hades and Baracudas give slightly smaller groups (closer to a dime). Light weight. Without the ATN scope it is under 7 pounds so I can hunt and pest with it for a decent amount of time before my old body starts to complain. Ambidextrous, great for left handed shooters, or a right handed shooter that likes the charging lever on the left handed side (like me)... no need to take my hand off the trigger for a follow-up shot. For the price I paid, I have little complaints for how it will be used, just some daily hunting of invasive and tasty bird species. Usually get a chance at 2 to 6 birds a day... No hunting season, bag limit, or license required to hunt them, as long as I am on my own property while carrying and shooting my pellet rifle it's an all you can eat buffet (Eurasian Dove and Feral Pigeon). *Edit 2 - So far UmarexUSA has been pleasant to deal with the warranty issues, other than needing to send a brand new German Made PCP back to them as I'm not an "Umarex trained gunsmith" so if I touch the airgun other than shooting and lubricating it, warranty will be voided... Read the owners manual, don't open and modify your airgun (even trigger adjustments could in theory void the warranty), and order direct from Umarex to receive a three year warranty compared to a one year warranty when ordering from a distributor (like AirgunDepot, umarexoutlet.com, PyramidAir, etc.)... I can't wait to get a Cherry Picked YouTubers airgun back after the warranty repairs fix all of the German Manufacturing oversights... ** Edit 3 - Umarex returned the airgun, it now has a dark black stock (was a light gray with a slight blue hue before) and the plastic feels great now. No more notching into place, definitely feels nicer... if you get a grayish blue looking stock, you might want Umarex to get you the better quality, all black edition, if the airgun is still under warranty it might be worth the upgrade. Umarex did not replace the magazines... just removed any jammed pellets and returned magazines without returning pellets... they kept sixteen H&N Baracuda 18 grain pellets... instead of giving me new magazines that work, they gave me a second owners manual trying to get me to use "RWS branded Pellets"... not realizing RWS Superdome was one of the 14 varieties already tried and jammed like any other branded pellet... the tolerance of pellets is not the problem Umarex, it's the German made Magazine that has tolerance issues...

Overall, I like it. I wish I didn't have plastic grabs. And I wish that the clip was designed better so that after one use this is what happened. It's impossible almost. If not impossible to cross threaded just by how deep the hole is to put it in to begin with. Didn't leak the first time? I loaded it, but clearly Manufacturers defect that prevents my seal from being sealed and the strongest point in the gun I also have their luger. Which is very fun to shoot. The last thing I would add is extremely disappointed because I called the company. It says in the owner's manual. Every 1000 shots oil, the main Spring. Will they refuse to give you that knowledge? So you can't do it

Looks awesome even though it's just a bb gun it is a show off out on the range, everyone loves it. Also the mag that came with mine utilized the spring lock, the older mag for this gun you had to hold the spring down by finger. So it seems they fixed that issue

No integrated rail mount from factory. So I used a rail section I had(it’s made of aluminum), I’m sure plastic of some type would be just as fine though. I DID NOT remove the top piece I just used super glue and then just eye-balled it setting it on it. Then used a couple of cable/zip ties to really apply a little pressure on it. I let it set for 24 hours then cut off zip ties. Then a little black paint to cover up the glue line. WOW! Now I really love it. I haven’t decided yet what to put on it but let me tell you it’s sweet! And I want to thank the people you see on YouTube etc., that inspired me to do this AND from those of you who do take the time to give a review on products and ideas that help a guy like me get my product/device to that next level of pure enjoyment. And the bragging rights I now have. Anyway you can remove top piece of gun and drill and mount that way but this is working great and strong! I’ve got $6.00 into the cost for the rail and glue if I remember correctly. I’m putting some pics up so you can see it. Enjoy and STAY THIRSTY MY FRIENDS

This airgun looks awesome just like the real thing. One of my favorite features is the extremely collapsable stock. It extends long enough for even big shooters like myself or it can be reduced down to a pistol. Like getting two guns in one. I absolutely love the Aeon Optic that comes with it, very easy to adjust when sighting in and I love the easy to switch brightness control. Cocking is break action and delivers a .177 pellet at 490 FPS, I found the accuracy to be very good.

  • This thing is amazing! I haven't had them very long (I liked the first one so much, I bought another one) but, I saw a review that the grip break somewhat easily. I've had some guns in the past, and put Hogue sleeves on them. Did the same thing with these, and I'm sure it's going to reduce the recoil. Less recoil, less breaks. Bottom line- Awesome product! Over a year later, still kickin'. For not having a rifle barrel, grouping is still tight, the mag doesn't leak CO2, and no broken pieces at all. Buy with Hogue sleeves! Love these guns!

  • These pellets are really good, they're pretty darn accurate, and are cleanly finished. I fire at steel plates, these provide a cheap and decent shooting experience on them.
