  • I own 3 BB rifles and 3 BB pistols and this is my favorite one to shoot. It is very accurate but the real fun comes from loading the BBs into the bullets/cartridges, loading the bullets into the rifle, and then cycling through the fire/reload part. Feels like being in an old western movie. I also have the Remington 1875 revolver and made the early mistake of thinking that I could use the same shells; you can't. The 1875 bullets are of a smaller caliber and won't load right into the rifle. I almost returned it thinking it was poorly manufactured (user error). I keep it clean and oiled so that it will continue to be a fun rifle for years to come.

First and foremost, THIS IS NOT A TOY. My agency recently switched from the Glock Pistol to the Walther PDP Compact. We had used Glock Simmunition guns for "force on force" training and I was looking for something similar in the Walther line of pistols. When I got the Walther T4E, I was impressed with several things. The size and heft were the same as my duty PDP. It has a removable plate for adding optics so it can be fitted with the same red dot sight that I have on my duty pistol. It also has the same picatinny rail for a weapon mounted light. It fits perfectly in my duty holster. When I first tried it out, I was shooting at a cardboard backer with a paper target. The T4E paint balls that I had loaded it with went straight through the paper and cardboard backer without breaking. I then switched to an 11 inch steel target. The accuracy was pretty good from 15 yards. About as good as you can expect when you are shooting a paintball out of a smooth bore barrel. At 25 yards I had to aim low as it has a tendency to shoot high. The trigger breaks at an average of 6 pounds 10 ounces and it has a lot of creep. Also there is no trigger reset like there is on the real Walther PDP. When you empty the 8 round magazine, the slide locks back like the real thing. I got about 7 magazines or 56 rounds before the CO2 lost enough power so that it wouldn't cycle the action and I had to manually work the slide back for subsequent shots and got about 20 more shots that way. It comes with 2 magazines and it's easy enough to switch magazines. Overall I believe that this is a very well made product. I am a fan of both Walther and Umarex and I am always impressed with the quality and craftsmanship of their products. I am planning to purchase more of these through my agency to use for training.

  • Waste of money IMO, it's not a good fit for the Walther T4E marker, due to the metal pertrusion that will not fit into the magazine well. There was no amount of sanding I've tried to get it to seat properly. Should have done better research prior to making this purchase. I, did remove the spring as a backup for my Walther T4E. 43 caliber marker.

As i was installing the (first) CO2 into the magazine… you can feel the pin pierce the cylinder “Stop” as i snugged it down it blew apart in my hand. It is not a returnable item. I had to call umarexoutlet.com customer service and explain to them what happened to me for them to refund my money. The Allen key that came with the pistol allows you to tighten it too tight versus a small key to just pierce the cylinder. I did like the looks and feel of the pistol. I did like that it worked just like my M&P… I was going to use the pistol to help my wife target shooting in the back yard.

Broken as soon as i opened box. Saw several other reviews saying same thing and thought id give it a chance. Something rattling around inside that came out and i have no idea where it came from. It would shoot some with extra mags i got but not the one it came with. Returned and ordered a lancer tactical. Hopefully that brand will do better.

Just received this yesterday in a timely manner (thanks umarexoutlet.com!). Then I was stupid and broke the gun after 2 shots. I have a return/replacement order that I realized I don't need because I fixed the problem, but there's no ability to cancel it. However, I'm not entirely disappointed with the idea of getting two of these. The fact that it comes with two magazines is really good value. I can't measure the 300 fps but it put some dents in the cardboard box it came in (not shown). I would recommend this. But not for kids. You need to have some care when using it, and the really cool firing mechanism has the ability to easily pinch fingers. I broke it because I didn't bother reading the instructions. The first cliche with this pistol, is that the gun is a typical spring cock-and-fire type pistol, with two limiting features (or special features, depending on how you look at things). There is a safety catch built into the weapon, made of metal (the trigger and ejection mechanism are also made of painted gun metal). It will hold the pistol in an open chamber or primed position until you click the latch (the place where most airsoft spring pistols usually have a safety) down and that's when you hear a satisfying click as the chamber closes. Failure to close the top part using the latch means that your gun can break apart - like it did with me. The latch will lurch the top part of the slide forward if you try firing it while the chamber is still open and instead of firing bbs, your gun will starting eating them (it may end up eating bbs, regardless though). To fix this, you will need to take something slim and heavy (a metal compass worked for me) and pull the latch back into it's proper position. It spat out the bbs once i did this and started working smoothly. So, don't do a refund until you have worked on the gun yourself, and don't work on the gun until you have read the instructions. Unless if you think you know how everything works. The gun is best used as a prop. The cocking mechanism is highly realistic, even showing the inner chamber when primed. If you can spray paint the plastic inside the chamber a brass color, it will look like a real bullet is in the chamber when primed. Very good theatric quality. (Edit: you may need to add a few extra details in order to make the plastic look realistic enough, though it will pass if people are far enough away). Edit: used this in a small plinking fight between my brother. Noticed two small problems and three good features with this weapon. First off, I just want to say that my return order was successfully cancelled, so no worries about that. I'll probably end up buying another one later on if the price is still just under $20. The second thing to note is that in my previous paragraph, I did not know how the primed chamber mechanism worked. But it turns out that the slide will naturally move into a primed position if you are on your last bullet or if the chamber is empty. That means that the pistol will let you know when you are on your last bullet, or if you are dry! It also means that once you load in a new mag, the pistol will already be cocked and ready for firing. Also, you can move back the slide and lift up the primed chamber mechanism and it will allow you to keep the slide back at any time you like. It can be useful for unjamming your gun, display, and just feeling cool when you hear a satisfying "click". A problem I noticed is that the magazine springs are too strong, and if you aren't careful, you can "fire" your entire magazine when reloading because the spring will launch them all before you get it into your pistol. Try to load slowly (I'm sure everyone can remember to load slowly in the middle of a firefight). Also, try to limit the number of rounds per reload until you are comfortable with loading (this limits the loss of bbs). A good feature with this weapon is that there is a bright red plastic bit on the top slide that sticks out when the pistol is armed and is hidden when the pistol is not primed. It's not intrusive or distracting and it lets you know if you need to re-cock the slide or if it is already loaded. A potential problem with the pistol I located is the very cool but very problematic open area on the slide. This is designed to let you see your bullets as you load them, but as I said before, it is a potential pinching hazard and the design is not good. If you are shaking too much when reloading, the chamber will start feeding more bbs into the slide, which limits your actual magazine capacity and it makes your magazine very inefficient as your excess bbs start rattling inside your weapon. You can't access them until you eject the magazine and shake the gun, alternatively it can make your gun jam in a firefight. I haven't found a way around this yet, other than to not tilt the weapon when re-cocking it (otherwise gravity pulls more bbs out of the magazine), and to limit shaking the weapon when reloading. There is a also a safety feature, a small knob that can turn the weapon from fire to safety mode. Very small, at first it is hard to turn, but after "breaking" it in, it will be much easier and prevents the weapon from being used by other klutzes. Magazine can load 80 rounds or so, I guess, but it is harder to reload the mag if you have too many bbs in the pistol dump. The magazine can theoretically hold 14 rounds in the mag chamber, but that amount can just as easily be kicked out by the powerful spring in the magazine (maybe use it as an impromptu machine gun on unsuspecting victims? Maybe that's why they give you two mags!). Realistically, you can only hold 6-7 ROUNDS IN THE MAGAZINE CHAMBER WITHOUT HAVING LOADING TROUBLES. If you try more, you WILL have loading troubles. I highly recommend that you try breaking in the spring by keeping it coiled up or by slightly heating it or in some way softening up the power, otherwise, you cannot expect to use more than 6 rounds of .12 g BBs (you may be more successful with heavier BBs, but probably not by much. Which is what everyone has been silently complaining about with this gun. In fact, that's probably the source of most of the negative comments on this gun. It is NOT an intuitive gun at all to use, and NOT for beginners. All that in mind, I see amazing potential for this weapon. I think that the open area on the slide is pretty cool, but that feature isn't really useful in real airsoft fights and is best for cosplay. I would prefer this gun even more if it kept all its features but removed the open area on the slide. The pinching hazard is hard to avoid even in firefights. Other than that, it is a good amateur airsoft pistol, very satisfying to use. I wouldn't recommend it for kids below 10-12, or any airsoft beginners, though, because of how unreliable and unwieldy the slide mechanism can be for players new to airsoft. It's a great second pistol to get, though, and it beats most cosplay because of its realistic look and feel and realistic actions.

UPDATE! July 2020 THEY BREAK! All of them! Faulty hammer valves and hammer valve springs! We’ve bought 3 pistols and two of these mags and all five now burst open with the valve getting stuck! They should all be recalled! This is the 4th time i’ve tried updating this review so Elire Firce can know about it and each time it doesn’t get posted! Let’s hope someone honest posts this very important update! So far so good! As for gas filling they’re the best mags to fill and come with extra silent fill valve o rings and are packed by ELITE FORCE in a really thick plastic pack that helps to protect the feed lips during shipping. While I have five stars on these mags the price is a part of that. At the average price on umarexoutlet.com And all Airsoft distributors since the 18c release of $42-$46 each they’re excellent all around but if anyone Tries to, or starts to sell them for more than this then move on because you’ll find

Everything is working well at this point I have seen reviews on this product and it’s always the mag that has the most problems so far I haven’t had any

Doesn't fit Sig Sauer MCX. I purchased this to allow me to save CO2 canisters and preserve my MCX between uses. (I sometimes have days or weeks between uses.) The adapter is appears to be constructed of billet aluminum, well-made and of good quality. I put one on my new 88g cylinder, then attempted to connect to my MCX. Due to the shape of the adapter (being "square", not tapered like the screw end of a cylinder) and also having a slightly (~5mm) shorter neck, it doesn't screw into the MCX far enough to activate the valve in the adapter. Just wasted a new $12 canister as all I could do is carefully unscrew the adapter and waste the gas.

There were 4 pellets stuck in the stick mag, that holds BBs. I had to force them out. Highly disappointed. Plus the pistol doesn't work at all, the co2 comes out the barrel when you load it! I tried twice with co2, wasted cartridges. The tac converter is fine, I installed my other pistol. No instructions either.

Ok, I had written a review previously that I want to retract immediately!! My main gripes with this gun were the horrific sights, it's terrible inaccuracy, the lack of any sort of rail system, and the fact that the pistol grip felt like some little plastic toy you'd buy at the dollar store. Probably my biggest gripe was loading the CO2 because it requires a bit of shenanigans. In my previous review I complained about everything. I take it all back. First off, with some lengthy umarexoutlet.com searching I found a picatinny rail designed specially for the real version of this gun and it fit like a dream. UTG MP5 Bi-directional Picatinny Mount, Low Profile That allowed me to get a dot sight which helped accuracy an almost ridiculous amount UTG 3.8" ITA Red/Green CQB Dot Sight with Integral Mount. The built-in sights are truly atrocious, what a difference the dot sight makes!! I ordered a Hogue grip sleeve New Hogue Grips Rubber Black Hand-All Universal Full 17000 High Quality Excellent Performance which eliminated the pistol grip feeling flimsy and gave the gun a much more rugged look - though if I'm honest, I think a different model sleeve might have fit a tad better but not so much so that I'd go through the trouble of returning the one I have. If I could change the foregrip this thing would be perfect!!

It's better than the XBG in my opinion,Better Sights and feels better in the hands, less rail to put Lasers or flashlights tho,Also tends to jam every so often if trigger is pulled too fast, but all in all it's fun to shoot cans and works great against small rodents or pests
