I really like the heft and quality. Only thing I don't like is the plastic grips. Wooden ones can be found here on umarexoutlet.com.

I've had this pistol for about a month now, and in general I'm pleased with it. The autofire feature is fun (at the expense of all accuracy!), and the gun feels substantial and well-made, but for one issue. As several other reviewers have noted, the attachment of the barrel shroud is a weak point, relying on only a tiny set screw to hold the pieces of cast metal together. This is insufficient to hold against the jarring of the gun firing, and the set screw needs to be tightened between every session. I did this a few times, but eventually the set screw wore through the metal part it's supposed to hold. My solution was to drill out the the tapped hole for the set screw and substitute in a stainless-steel machine screw and matching nut. The nut had to be carefully shaped to fit into the narrow space between the barrel shroud and the brass tube that's the actual barrel of the gun. I put it together with a little Loc-tite, and it's been solid through several firing sessions. My reproduction Mauser now has an extra screw head, but I'd rather the thing stay in one piece. Anyway, three out of five stars, because of (1) the weak point in the design that (2) many people would not be prepared to address. I had the tools to deal with it; I would caution any other buyers to expect the same problem.

This is pretty much the standard speed loader design and has been for at least 10 years. The Walther/UHC brand is known in my circle. This loader may not be top of the line but is easy to throw in a pocket and easy to use with a little practice/training. Yes, a crank-loader is faster. After a little practice however, I can quickly load 3 mid-cap mags without hassle between games. Again, a more expensive loader would offer more capacity without the need to refill the loader itself. Mine is breaking after a few weekends out on the field, mostly the feed lip/nozzle section which goes into the mag. There is a little plastic dust buildup inside as well from friction. For the modest price, I look at these loaders as a consumable within the hobby. Still hard to wrong and you will almost always pay more at the field if you buy there anyway. :)

UPDATE: Feb 20: OK, although I love the accuracy of this gun, after trying to use it on squirrels.....and the pellets literally bouncing off from about 40 feet..... I ended up sending it back. For a plinker its awesome, but that's where it ends. If I can't even kill a squirrel from 40 feet, it's just a nice toy. I'm going to try a break barrel with more gusto, and see how that pans out. UPDATE: 28 Jan 20: Today I was going to do a little plinking, only to find the C02 was empty (just installed new ones yesterday and only shot about 15 rounds). I replaced the caplets, only to hear a slight hissing when installed. I removed those, checked everything, oil the seal and the new C02 caplets, and installed them..... more hissing, and before I could even get a full magazine inserted, all the C02 was gone. After more then an hour of investigating, it appears there is a crack or break somewhere internally with the C02 system. I've run less then 1,000 rounds through it, so don't know if it's just happenstance, or poor quality. Luckily I'm still within the return period, so am sending it back for a replacement. I'll run rounds through the next one and see if it does the same thing..... if so, I'll have to return it for a refund and forget this gun. UPDATE: VERY IMPORTANT TIP.... this rifle doesn't give you much notice when the C02 is getting low.....just a strange sound....and a pellet lodged in the barrel! Not a big deal, just pull the magazine, and take a cleaning rod (of the correct diameter) down the barrel from the muzzle.....the pellet pushes out fairly easily.... then put in new C02, and off you go! This is without a doubt the BEST pellet rifle I have ever owned or seen!! EXACT weight, look, and feel of an actual Ruger 10/22 rifle. OK..... about it: It's C02 operated, and takes TWO C02 cartridges at a time.... they go in under the butt plate, first one faces forward, second one faces rearward. The butt place has a built in wrench to open/close the gas plug. The rotary magazine is great! It's so much fun.....you need to order extra mags (I did, and waiting for them to arrive.) Out of the box I installed the scope mount/plate (not included/purchased separately), and an old Simmons 4x32 scope I had in the gun cabinet. I sighted it in, with only 6 rounds using Crosman Magnum Premier Domed Pellets, then settled in to see how it would do. (see photos) Super accurate, and even better....CONSISTENT accuracy! Usually specific guns prefer/shoot better with a given type/brand of ammo. This gun shoots whatever you feed it the same! (although I did find the accuracy was slight more consistent with the Crossman Premier domed pellets) Seating depth when placing the pellets in the magazine is a BIG KEY to accuracy. So take your time and ensure you seat the pellets. In recent weeks I have tried several air/C02 rifles, and this is the ONLY one that I consider accurate enough to keep! If you like/enjoy pellet rifles......THIS IS THE ONE TO GET!! Now....watch out all the squirrels and gophers around my place!!!! :)

Gun worked great for one co2 cartridge then the seal broke. Expected at least a little bit more durability REVIEW UPDATE: I took the gun apart and it turns out that on the silver metal part where the Co2 tank connects one of the brass screws (must remove 2 black pins first) was loose and just needed to be tightened. Good as new! Hope this helps someone. Giving 4 stars because having to take apart was inconvenient.

Bought this for $23. For that, I can't expect it to have perfect accuracy or shoot from a million feet away. It does feel a little flimsy and you need to be a little careful when you rack the slide to reload a pellet and prime the spring for the next shot. If I break mine in a short period of time I'll update the review, but I was able to shoot a bunch of shots at a target from about 12 feet away and stay mostly accurate. I tried again from 20 and it was much less so.

A professionally designed pistol with the safety where it should be, under the thumb, the Makarov is about the size of a Walther PPK/S coming in at just over 6". It is ideal to slip into the pocket, especially for those mean dogs that may confront you. At 20 feet I printed one group with two shots in the 10 ring bull, two shots in the 8 ring and one flyer on a NRA Official 25' Rapid Fire Pistol Target. Except the flyer that's a one inch group, and I think I could put them all in the bull on a steadier day. Previous group as I warmed up was 2". Penetration into a phone book was good, averaging about 88 pages plus the cardboard cover is probably equal to almost a hundred pages, but denting and tearing occurred into 170 pages, so that's good enough power for me and the dogs! After 30 shots it was still putting the BB's well into the phone book to 78 pages plus the cardboard cover, so regular Crosman CO2 cartridge doesn't play out badly. After more than fifty shots it shoots through one side of a heavy Progresso Soup can and heavily dents the backside. A sleek little gun which has a steel working slide and hammer, very crisp fast double action. Slide a bit loose, but expected as not a real firearm. NO TELLTALE PLASTIC SEAMS ON SLIDE, TRIGGER, AND HAMMER! NO LARGE TELLTALE WHITE MARKINGS OF SAFETY WARNINGS, but the warning is small engraved on right side of slide, so doesn't detract from the real gun look. Plastic hammer has a metal ball insert in it to activate the firing pin and snags on single action cocking when magazine is fully loaded and in place. Does not snag when magazine is removed. Plastic trigger and hammer are disappointing. What would it cost to make them steel? I can get a bar of 1018 steel for pennies, about a dollar. You could make a dozen or more hammers from it. Sights are minimal. Front sight is small and thin and does not pick up easily in dim light, but it has an excellent sight rib on top of slide to enable easy tracking. Put some kind of 'White Out' or white paint on front sight. Get yourself extra clips so you can change them and reload in an instant in case you need to shoot right away and the same cartridge should last for more rounds. It takes time to load them, but there is a detent on the magazine to allow you to stack the BB's in, holding it upright of course, and then let the tension back onto the spring. Mag holds 18 rounds, manual says it holds 18. Good finish, looks like a real steel pistol. Most of all it's slim and compact and that's what I wanted. With a shorter barrel and no adjustable sights this doesn't shoot as accurately as my 1008 Repeatair which only holds 8 pellets, but shoots almost as hard and is more than accurate enough to hit dogs with. If that guy who was killed by those two large Cane Corsos up in Michigan had had one of these to discourage the attack he might still be alive! The air pistol would not have killed the dogs but he could have blasted them in the face if they had not stopped. He said something as he was dying like, "please help me, I don't want to die". So pitiful and avoidable, but he was jogging and didn't expect the attack. That's the way it happens, you don't expect it, so be ready. It may seem inhumane to shoot dogs but it is more inhumane to suffer dog-bite and death by dog(s)! Always wear safety glasses when shooting any gun. As the warning says, do not brandish this gun in public, it may alarm people who may think it is an actual firearm. Conclusion: Get this pistol and slip it into your pocket!

I like it a lot. Nice and bright settings and easy to adjust while zeroing. Really good sight for the price point. Pictures of the lights are all on the level 3 brightness.

My Gamo really likes these pellets. They look very uniform and shoot consistently. At 25 yards they shot very well. They were only impeded by the shooter’s ability. Shooting from a table with only an elbow rest (no vise or sandbags) my 10 shot group was about 1.25 inches. In a vise or bags I’m sure it would have been well under an inch. Definitely buying more.

I just bought these less than 2 weeks ago an on my first day playing outdoor after playing whit them maybe for like 2 hours they got like this, idk how humidity found a way to condensate in between the inside layers of de actual plastic google and when I tried to clean it up whit a rag made it worse overall not very satisfied o ended up changing to my old goggles

Airsoft is an expensive hobby, these bbs are the best bang for your buck that I have found, and have never had any issues with feeding or jamming. They seem to be just as durable as any other bb. Usually you spend 20$ on a 5,000 count bottle of bbs, but this comes with 15,000.. when first purchased, I wasn’t sold that there were actually 15,000 bbs in the bucket… cause who’s going to count them anyways, right?… well, for my own clarification, I did do a rough count and there are an estimated 15,000 bbs in the bucket lol. You’re welcome lol, for anyone who might have had the same question that may read this review.

Nice gun. Easy to work on. Well designed. I popped the right side off and checked it out and re-lubed everything. 7 fine phillips head screws hold it together. For some reason the factory spring behind the hammer had a bit of slack at the end of the throw, so I shimmed it .090”. May give it a hair more umph. Shot fine without it though. Chronographed at 390 fps on a 70 degree day with fresh C02. The barrel does fit a bit loose inside the slide, but this allows shims to adjust the front sight. I used 1/4” squares of black electrical tape, (slide will stay back if you push the safety up). The rear sight is a bit high, so it can be filed down to adjust. With it apart the C02 thumb tab assembly pops out in 1 piece, so it is easy to replace with a flush homemade nut and bolt requiring a screwdriver. I had the luxury of a lathe to cut a concave mating surface on the panhead bolt head. A machine shop would probably do it for a couple bucks. Accuracy seems decent. I used routine quality BB’s and grouped within 4” at 20’ freestanding. I am no expert at this either! I had some really old Copperhead Crossman BB’s that were a bit less accurate. Marksman BB’s were too big for the barrel. Standard Daisy’s is what I used. If in doubt, get a couple extra magazines. They function very well and are metal and come in handy. The feel of this gun is very nice. Cocking the hammer and shooting targets in single action is great. Double action works well too. This gun has a very convincing real firearm look and feel. I chose it partly because Umarex has a reputation for good seals. It does hold pressure for days, have not tried weeks yet. As for impact power, at 15’ it shot through 1 side of a steel soup can and dented the backside. At 20’ it went through 8 to 9 layers of regular corrugated cardboard box material. It has good power for target practice through at least 100 shots. Probably a lot more, haven’t counted. Too busy having fun!! This gun is a great value for the money.

This gun would be a 5+ star product if it had a good trigger. I put a screw in it as someone suggested and that cut down on the 1/4 mile pull. My problem is that sometimes when pulling the trigger I’ll hit the wall and then it’s a slow pull until it fires. Sometimes there is no wall and it fires. It is very inconsistent. As far as accuracy, I started using Crosman pointed pellets. They seemed ok. Then I bought a bad can of Crosman Piranhas. They wouldn’t fit in the gun. Walmart wouldn’t take them back or exchange them. Lesson learned there. I wrote to Crosman explaining what happened and they sent me a can of Crosman Premier Hollow Point. Wow! Now at 45’ I’m grouping the shots together. At 75’ I’m hitting my hanging cans almost every shot. Caution, I have 1x6 times 3 boards as a backstop. I was hit in the leg a week ago and today I found the two shots that went over my head and hit the house, after bouncing off the backstop. I’ve enclosed a picture. Always wear safety glasses! This gun has a lot of power.

The package came a little damaged but that was nothing to worry about, gun is in great condition. This is a birthday gift for my brother. I got this one because my friend has the exact one. HE IS GONNA LOVE IT
