   I bought this pellet gun for my girlfriend to practice how to shoot before she moves to a new gun so she wasn’t nervous. It operates and functions just like a real firearm and has a working slide that reach chambers a bb each time.. Excellent purchase I would definitely purchase one again and man does it fire off some rounds really fast and very powerful it goes right through the cardboard from 25 feet distance

   This are almost identical to the clip that came with the gun but not $100. I’ve noticed with these clips the BB is much more likely to roll out of the barrel if you don’t squeeze the trigger fully enough to fire. Where as the factory clip does not do this. Overall they are high quality and work fine. You just have to pull the trigger in one full motion…no slow squeezing or the BB will fall out.

   As others stated, it is not as drop free as original magazine your gun initially came with.
   Although it doesn’t drop freely, it is well built and feels really stiff. Great addition for your CP99.

    These spare magazines for the Umarex Walther CP99 Compare BB pistol are top-notch. Like the gun itself, they are mostly metal, with a plastic tab for pulling down the spring for loading. After about 100 magazine loads for each of my three magazines, the tabs are showing no signs of wear.

    Just load all of your magazines before shooting and drop out each magazine upon emptying it, insert another, and continue shooting. The capacity is as stated, although it is possible to sneak one more BB in.

    I purchased 2 NEW Umarex Walther 2252519 BB 18 Shot Magazine CP99 Compact (2 Pack), Black. THE PACKAGE WAS TORN, ONE CLIP WAS MISSING AND THE SECOND ONE WAS BROKEN (being the spring was quite difficult to pull back and load the clip).

    They work just as well as the one that came with the pistol . They dont drop free as well but they will loosen up with use.

    Update: Got Umarex CO2 cartridges and was still experiencing the problem. Removed the thumb adjustment screw and was able to file ~1/16″ off of the tip, reinstalled and all cartridges now install with out any interference. Umarex does seem to be more powerful than the Crosman. Gun is absolutely a pleasure and great for practice when I can’t get to the range. Also drilled 3 small holes in the sights and glued in small pieces of fiber optic. Much better sight picture. Just purchased and like very much, although I am having a problem with Crosman CO2 cartridges. They have to be forced (rather unnerving) into the handle when knob is in open position and thumb knob is backed down all the way. Bummed, will not be using it until new cartridges arrive. I have ordered some Umarex CO2 cartridges and will update upon receipt. Would have thought that CO2 cartridges would be standard. What to do with so many unusable CO2 cartridges?

    These clips are the exact same ones the CP99 originally comes with. They are of the same material, fit perfectly, and shoot perfectly. I havent had ay jamming or grinding with the newer clips.
    If people pay attention to what type of weapon they have and order the proper clip…..these are exactly what you are looking for. There is no reason why this shouldnt have 5 stars all the way around. Plus, they were at a really great price!

    I bought these back in December 2012. They’re one of the better designed magazines because the BBs stay in the magazine. Some magazines have a knack for shooting out BBs due to their design. This has never happened with the magazines for my CP 99. The top portion of the magazine is also magnetic, so the BBs are even less likely to fall out. I’ve had zero issues with these magazines. No failure to feed/jams. If you wish to shoot more BBs before you have to reload your magazine, then this is a good buy. There’s really not much more to say.

    It’s reliable and the price is reasonable.
