   This air gun has performed flawlessly. I have not yet tested the accuracy, but I have had zero issues with it, including the issues some people have had with it’s magazine. Make sure you lube up the moving parts well and this gun will perform for you with flying colors.

   Update 5/1/22 I have shot over 5000 bb’s through this gun now and I can say it has only malfunctioned less than 20 trigger pulls. I think mainly this occurred when I was “breaking in” a new magazine (I have 4 total including the one that came with the gun), and I may have over-lubricated the air chamber. Overall, it’s still very accurate and consistent, performs great! My only real gripe is that it’s a pain to clean thoroughly because it cannot be field stripped. I really wish they had included that feature, it doesn’t seem like it would increase the cost to manufacture by much if at all but I could be wrong. Anyway, just updating to say this gun has been worth every penny, still has great accuracy. This S&W M&P9 M2.0 .177 BB is a fantastic CO2 replica air pistol. The caveat is that straight out of the box it’s not going to feel or shoot great– at least that was the case for me. You are going to make sure you lubricate the BB chamber and the mechanism on your magazines to keep them firing and advancing the next BB as smoothly as possible. I would also recommend giving the trigger and other moving parts on the gun a light lubrication as well. Before I did this, the trigger felt almost crunchy… truly awful. It’s honestly still not great and probably the worst part of the gun unfortunately BUT it at least has a very crisp wall so riding up against that is quite easy, even when the trigger isn’t performing smoothly. The double action pull is gross though, and the trigger’s single action trigger is better but it still catches a little before it hits the wall and that’s not necessarily going to affect a good shooter but again… it’s just a gross feel for a trigger pull. Also, the gun isn’t that accurate straight out of the box. Granted, I had to adjust to it briefly, but I was still able to track that a lot of shots were just coming out wildly off target. After a few hundred Black Widow Precision BBs (also using Black Diamonds) the accuracy has greatly improved. I typically practice handgun shooting from a much longer range than people typically do– shooting from a little over 20 yards away. It took a few attempts but I have managed to successfully empty an entire mag 100% into a grouping smaller than a license plate (roughly the size of a face) from that range with this gun, firing probably about 2 shots per second. Maybe I deserve a little credit but I couldn’t do that with a gun that wasn’t at least respectably accurate… and I’d call that very respectable accuracy for a replica style blowback plinker. Looks wise, I love this style of gun and the replica quality is nice. You can tell it’s not real if you regularly handle and use firearms, but it still looks very good and quite accurate to its namesake. It’s lighter and I’m not sure what the metal used in the slide is, but it has a more tinny sound than the steel you’d find in a real gun. No big deal. I’d expect the gun to cost a lot more if they used those kinds of materials. The magazine feature is extremely useful because when you use more than one magazine (I seriously recommend) you are not going through your CO2 one cylinder at a time any more, so you have much more consistent air pressure to use over a longer period of time/more shots since you are alternating cylinders each time you reload… instead of just shooting on the same cylinder until its spent. That was a crucial feature and a deciding factor for me in selecting this. Overall, this is by far my favorite gun to practice with in the back yard right now and that 9XP I have next to it is also a pleasure to shoot– very accurate and the trigger is arguably better in some ways. It has a smoother pull, but the wall is more mushy, and not as defined so… trade off. Anyway, point is I love shooting that thing and the Smith & Wesson M&P9 M2.0 still beats it for me.

   Extremely Accurate, powerful and great for teaching firearm safety. More people NEED to know the importance of properly handling a firearm. Whether it’s real or hobby type pistol, it’s good practice. Firearms are not toys and can be dangerous when placed in the wrong hands. Using this as an aid to properly teach someone in handling it, checking if it’s loaded or not can prevent fatal accidents from occurring. I purchased this for my two sons to teach them that real life and video game weapons are very different. When this was put in their hands they immediately stopped associating it with a video game weapon and became very serious. Taught them to treat it as if it is always loaded even with the clip removed right next them. Taught them how to keep barrel pointed downwards unless target is being fired at. Most important was to make themselves aware of their surroundings; no one is down range, no one is near that could be in danger of a misfire or ricochet. Also to announce “firing on the line” plus when checking a target unload clip, place firearm on table, step away without handling and announce “Clear to Check Targets” Being a father of four kids you have to worry about these things. involved to keep sport shooting fun but safe. Good firearm practice teaches them how dangerous a real firearm could be if found or if in the wrong hands.

   I got this to train at home when I can’t get to the range and to also introduce, and start training, my son. It’s a surprisingly accurate replica of my actual m&p9 and fits perfectly into my holster. I also love that it comes with the different grips to find the one that’s most comfortable. The blowback system is also a really nice feature when practicing at home and to get my son introduced to the concept of recoil. The only downsides are that the grip texture is pretty intense. But I’m sure with use, it’ll subside. The second downside is that the trigger is far forward in the trigger guard. My son is young and his finger has a hard time reaching it fully. But that’s nothing against the product itself! Just for my intended purposes, it’s a downside. I’m still giving this 5 stars regardless of those two details!

   As i was installing the (first) CO2 into the magazine… you can feel the pin pierce the cylinder “Stop” as i snugged it down it blew apart in my hand. It is not a returnable item. I had to call umarexoutlet.com customer service and explain to them what happened to me for them to refund my money. The Allen key that came with the pistol allows you to tighten it too tight versus a small key to just pierce the cylinder. I did like the looks and feel of the pistol. I did like that it worked just like my M&P… I was going to use the pistol to help my wife target shooting in the back yard.

   It never worked. BB’s just roll out of the end and insert for the barrel fell out. Complete waste of money in my case and I was so excited to have it because I own a couple S&P 9mm.

    Has a nice feel to it idk if the weight is equal to the real thing
    but i love it comes with different grips, decently accurate up to 15ft any farther the bbs curve up it can punch through a soda can about 6ft away so it packs a nice punch. It also has 9mm engraved on the top of it. The reason I gave a 4 star rating is because the paint on the slide does easily scratch off but otherwise it’s a really nice piece
