An excellent value, I highly recommend this kit.

   Never gave much consideration about cleaning a pellet gun before, no burnt powder fouling and such. But a new rifle brings new thoughts. It appears to be well made and everything fits together. I have tried some store brand brushes and patch holders and they work.
   By the way, I must have received a different kit than the other two reviewers, my cleaning rod has a female end and both the bore brush and the jag have male ends, so no problems there.

   I purchased this kit to use with my new Umarex air rifle as it came with everything I needed to get started. Unfortunately, upon opening the packaging I discovered that both bottles of oil had leaked and saturated the rest of the contents of the kit in a fairly significant amount of oil. It appears that the factory seals in the bottles were either faulty from the start, or failed at some point during shipping. I also observed damage to one of the tins of pellets. The apparent lack of quality in the packaging, particularly the oil bottles, disappoints me greatly. I’ve come to expect much higher quality from RWS and Umarex than this. What I do like about this kit is that it comes with a .177 cleaning rod, which I was having a hard time finding. It also comes with two 250 count tins of pellets, which as of the date of this review, are fairly difficult to come by. Overall I think this kit would be great as a starter kit for those new to air guns if it wasn’t held back by the flawed oil bottles. The Good: – Value for money – Good starter kit – Comes with pellets – Sturdy cleaning rod The Bad: – Low quality, leaky oil bottles – Included targets are too small to be useful

   This is a very nice cleaning kit. All of the items are of very high quality and this is all you need to clean your .177 break barrel air rifle (other than an oil for wiping down the exterior, i use silicone oil for a treadmill to prevent inadvertant damage to seals and gaskets – I have a review on this as well). If you don’t have a spring air rifle i think you would be fine with a cheaper kit but this kit is needed for the oils alone. These 2 oils individually purchased are closing in on the price of this kit. Buy a cheap cleaning rod, jag and brush and you are there. The rod jag and brush in this kit are very nice. I don’t think this kit is that over-priced for what it comes with but I would have liked a cheaper option without the pellets and targets. They are good but not necessary. Instead of these items I would have preferred a plastic tube or case of some kind for the hardware, instead the whole thing just comes in plastic packaging and everything is loose after you open it. I had to put the brush, jag and oil needle in a pill bottle to keep them protected and together. The only thing I really don’t like about this kit is the reversed rod to attachment point. This kit does not come with a patch holder attachment and you can’t add one because of the way the rod is made (male instead of female ends). This item is not needed to clean a rifle but I like to use them and am unable to with this kit. Other than that i am very pleased with this kit. It is very high quality and the perfect starter kit. I will post some good pictures of the items in this kit as it is hard to see much in the picture currently on here.

   Loctite the handle . does what tis is designed to do and it is a good starter kit for 17s. pellets may not be your favorite but do work good in most rifles. targets are nice is the size I use small and not for everyone . cleaning pellets are nice more would be better for the kit . the oil pretty much what all guns use . would like to see a small tin off Air Venturi moly lube included at least a sample big enough to do 1 rifle

   Overall this is worth the money if you need the two included oils and cleaning tools. Although on the pricey side, I found silicone oil for half the price of the Air Chamber Lube sold individually but it was half the amount (1/4 oz instead of 1/2 oz). So, I chose this kit as it’s recommended by the mfg of the bb gun I own and includes cylinder oil which I needed and the cleaning tools. As mentioned in other reviews, oil bottles are not sealed properly. There is a seal under the cap but it’s just sitting there. Oil did leak inside the kit as you can see in the included pictures. I don’t know how much was leaked/lost exactly but one bottle looks to be 3/4 full. When it comes time to purchase more oil, hopefully I can find it locally. As for the included targets… looks like they are 30 feet away while holding them in my hand (very small lol).
