The Umarex Gauntlet 2 is a serious air rifle. This thing has some heft to it and weights about the same as a conventional rifle. Great performance at 1000 fps and quite accurate. It doesn’t come with sights but has a picatinney rail which I attached one of my older rifle scopes to. Super fun to shoot! I have put over 300 rounds through it so far with no issues. It’s a little loud but the barrel is threaded for a suppressor which is nice. It comes with 2 seven round magazines. I give the Gauntlet 2 a solid 5 star rating!

I own several airguns but this rifle takes it to another level. This thing is serious and is shooting a .30 caliber pellet at 1000fps. I was seriously impressed with the accuracy I was able to get great groups at distances beyond 50 yards. It is louder than any of my other rifles but not bad at all considering the performace it’s giving. I have also seen some videos about supressors available and will definitely be looking into that next. (The barrel is already threaded). Like other Umarex airguns this one has the 7 round rotary magazine which I really like. The easy to read pressure gauge is very nice. I plan to try some long range shooting to take advantage of it’s longer range capabilities. I will try to add an update if I can.

Have so many raccoons on my farm that they pee and poop in my feed bins enough to ruin the whole bin. How they are getting through corrugated steel is a mystery. Got the .25Dropped a Wraith 4K Mini Digital Rifle Scope, 2-16 on it. Literally sighted in with first shot. Crow Magnum pellets leaving golf ball sized exit holes in their heads at 50-75 yards. One of the top three PCP Airguns in my collection. Accurate and powerful, regulated and huge bottle for around $400. Freaking LOVE IT!

Whenever I received my gauntlet it was not in its original package and did not come with my instructions ,magazine ,and single shot tray.It was only wrapped in plastic and in a long cardboard box. Trigger is a little long too but other then that decent pcp.

I like everything about it. It is comfortable, reasonable weight, well balanced, accepts standard Picatinny/Weaver accessories, and is very precise. I added a Weaver rail on the bottom to accept a bipod and other accessories. Chronograph shows 1177 fps/31 ft-lbs for a 10 grain pellet, 861 fps/42 ft-lbs for a 25.4 grain pellet, and 1080 fps/35 ft-lbs for a 13.43 grain pellet. At ten yards, the space I’ve got in my basement, the spread seems to be a little under 1/4 inch, but I’m far from being a marksman and out of practice.

Purchased this to hunt with and we open it and try to fill it up and notice that it’s leaking air. I’m very disappointed because we always purchase from Umarex for pellet guns. I’ve tried to send it back for another one and i’ve tried to contact the manufacturer and I haven’t had any luck so far. This was an expensive pellet gun for it not to work straight out of the box.

The seller got it to me fairly quick. Yes, it leaked when I first tried to pump it up. I removed the bottle by removing three small Allen screws and screw it off. Cleaned the two o-rings but a drop of air gun lubricant and tried again no luck. Took my 4500 psi Benjamin, 1 L air bottle and hit it. All the seals locked no more leaks. Shot about 40 times. No trouble at all. I will say the clip for the ammunition takes some getting used to. I will let it set overnight it see if the pressure goes down but I hear nothing at this point. I found you need to have the butt in your arm to cock the bolt not like my Hammer. /// UPDATE 500 rounds slugs and pellets still no problems.
