   this gun has a great feel, and great looks in general, metal in all the right places, and polymer in all the places it would be on the real thing. it works great and in the few games I’ve played with it, it can reach out around 100-150 feet, which is not bad for an smg. very snappy gearbox and can spit out about 15-17 rps. the gun has a great texture and has mounts on the top if you want to put a rail on there. the stock iron sights are dialed in amazingly, and the barrel is threaded 14mm negative if you wanted to put a tracer unit or mock suppressor on there.

   A few things to know.

   – This is a high quality airsoft gun. These normally do not come with batteries so don’t go expecting one.
   – Unlike the cheaper ones, this one is made of metal EVERYWHERE you’d expect. The only plastic parts are the handguard, lower receiver, and the stock. It is a very high quality plastic.
   – Unlike cheaper ones, the bolt can be pulled back and “slapped” like in video games, and this one is far more durable. You’ll see in certain reviews that other bolts are less durable.
   – The magazine is a little wobbly. CYMA Metal MP5 mags fit way better than the ones that come with this one.
   – It shoots very fast and very accurately! There is no blowback action but it is not advertised.

   I wish the magazines fit more snug, overall I was able to get better magazines. 5/5 for performance and feel. This is the most comfortable and easy to use airsoft gun in my collection!

   Battery really tough to fit in the front beneath the grip. 9.6v lipo nunchuck batteries will NOT fit in the front. I saw a youtube review that mentions you can fit a battery in the back when using the non-skeleton stock but that requires disassembly of the gun. I will probably have to order a 7.4v battery which is physically smaller in order to fit the battery in the front. Definitely not a good purchase for beginner airsofters.

   The one I received was broken and not working correct but I purchased another one that was the exact same model, it’s a great build, good ROF decent FPS, sturdy metal receiver, plenty of battery space in the stock

   Pro’s
   Solid construction and materials are ok as long not abusive to your equipment.
   Accuracy and ROF are fine.
   If up grading the barrel the 229mm sits flush with the threads.
   It looks to battery efficient.
   Echo 1 mags are compatible.
   Con’s
   The hop-up has a locking screw needing to be set.
   If installing the Magpul fore end there is no room for the battery.
   The muzzle orange threads are plastic and will strip easily.

   First the positive. This is a gorgeous replica of the real thing. It isn’t as heavy, but if you aren’t comparing in hand with the real thing, it is close. The painted metal is a little more matte than HK’s current SP5 finish. Finding information on which battery to order is tedious at best. I’ve ordered one (hopefully it will work), but haven’t received it yet, so don’t know if I got the right one or how the AEG performs.
   My big gripe is that the ad states that this is the competition kit that comes with two stocks and two hi-cap magazines. Neither is true. The box included a single magazine and the standard stock only.
