   Absolutely fantastic pellets. But save urself the headache and buy them elsewhere. I have purchased these pellets on 2 different occasions. Both times i strongly believe they were playing basketball and slam dunked them into the packaging. I mean it’s really bad. If I worked for umarex I would pull these ASAP. These are fantastic pellets. Shoot 1 hole groups at 50yrds out the Notos. But if they all come in damaged and bent up then they will shoot like trash and give umarex a bad wrap when it’s in fact not the pellets at all. But when it comes to the shipping and protection of the item. They just dump the pellets themselves in the packaging and toss the tin in as a bonus. Like it was an after thought or suggestion. Something to sweetin the pot.

   This is less a product review than a service review, but these pellets showed up loose in the package, and the shipping process caused them to move around. The result is that many of them are misshapen so they no longer fit nicely in the magazine for my Synergis Elite. My guess is that some of them will jam the air gun.

   Question for the manufacturer, should the metal container these arrive in be sealed? Seems like that would be an easy way to solve the problem.

   These are not cheep pellets, and a bit of tape on the manufacturer side would go a long way to make sure the product arrives in the package, and are safe to use.

   These surprised me at how well they performed. I sighted them in at 50 yards with my Umarex Gauntlet SL30 and was shooting about 1/2″ groups or less. I brought it in to 30 yards and they were practically shooting the same hole. Pretty darn good pellet.

    I recently purchased 3 Umarex notos PCP air rifles (I wrote a quick review on those also if interested…)

    These pellets are consistently more accurate than most of the other pellets I tried out with the Notos. I have looked closely at the Brimstones vs other brands and I think a main contributor to their repeatable accuracy is the thickness of the cone-shaped on the back of the projectile. It appears to be both thicker, and of an alloy that is stiffer than other pellets I’ve used. I’ve found that as other pellets bounce around inside the tin when out hiking or moving around, the back of the pellet becomes bent or otherwise mis-shaped which would affect their flight. I haven’t tested penetration, but I can say that the “slapped watermelon” sound they make when hitting their bird targets is both satisfying AND deadly. 10/10

    I ordered the Umarex Brimstone .22 Cal. 28:24 gr slugs. Finally had a chance to shoot them. They are unbelievably accurate. They have a saying on the tin. Shoots like Heaven. Hit’s like hell. They are spot on with that. I would recommend them to anyone looking for straight shooting and hard hitting ammo. G.F.

    The outside of the package arrived in good condition, but inside the item was open and did not contain the 150 pellets, maybe half or 40% of the 150 pellets it was supposed to have.
