   I’ve owned a few bb pistols and rifles over the years and I can say that this is very close to a real firearm. It has nice weight to it, has the blowback feature, and is fairly accurate. The slide is made from metal and the lower is plastic….just like that one very popular gun maker. Im not stranger to firearms (US Army MP) and this is NO TOY. It says it fires 400 fps but it is more than that. For testing, I stacked a few (4) pieces of scrap sheet rock and it went through all 4. C02 doesnt leak and you get many shots from 1 cartidge. Has rear optic sights. The magazine has a nice build to it and part metal. Also, it is a little on the loud side. About the same as a high pressure nail gun. The ONLY issue I have is that the slide feels a bit “tinny” and isn’t very tight. If you want a good pistol but are on a budget, you can’t go wrong with this one. But remember, treat it like a real pistol. Maintain it properly. Clean it, keep it oiled and but a holster. I see so many reviews saying that it breaks or doesnt last long. Maybe its the way its being treated.

   Gun is well made . It is a great training tool for teaching younger or older people fire arm safety. The blowback is a nice feature for teaching the proper way of holding a semi automatic hand gun. This is pretty loud also. Accurate is good until the co2 gets low. I put a laser site on mine and it’s groups fairly well for a co2 pistol. No problems with leaking. I’ve let it sit for weeks and it function just fine. Run steel. Copper and plastic BBs without any problems. Packs a good punch for rodents and pest removal. Word of caution.. this can easily be mistaken for a real glock or a similar model. Otherwise great for punching paper or cans.

   Happy with the purchase. Seems to have a small leak after some months of use. The “blowback” is very loose and obnoxious sounding though.

   I will say it does have nice materials, however they aren’t all metal and the inner workings aren’t crafted correctly. The CO2 does not flip in causing it to spray and you to lose CO2 and shooting power. Hot glue around the CO2 tip will fix it but be sure to tighten it all the way and quickly. It will shoot about 3 full mags before losing almost all power. I’m satisfied with the looks but not the performance. It is not accurate, and the trigger pull is too heavy. (Yes I know that it has a safety trigger, but it makes the pull longer and your shots less precise)

   So many different Umarex BB pistols to chose from and what sealed the deal for me is these fiber optic rear sights. For some reason, the front sight is just black, but I have a neon green paint marker and made my own dot. And while I was at it, filled in the stamping on the slide. So if you buy this BB pistol, get yourself a paint marker to dot the front sight. I can shoot nearly 100 BBs with one CO2 cartridge and I become more accurate each day since purchase

    I’ve really been enjoying my xp9 pistol from Umarex stake enough it’s more durable than my first pistol the Beretta px4 Storm. I’ve always found it easier to shoot using the blowback feature. It’s been over a year and my xp9 still works trouble free.I don’t use copper BBs either. Whenever possible, I highly recommend using Umarex brand co2’s ,Crosman work most of the time but not Daisy. Well with the money.

    (((UPDATE 17,253 rounds later and 86 CO2 canisters later the slide catcher snapped off)))For $60 it works great it feels great. It has a little bit of weight to it. I’ve had no problems with it firing or any leak of any sort. Although the slide does sound like a tin can which is to be expected for $60 CO2 powered pistol. The blowback feels great, it is a little loud firing but other than that, I think it’s a great gun for the price.

    Not only does it shoot at least maximum distance at an 8×6 inch plastic protien whey can about 43 feet…It hits almost instantly quick/penetrates frequently up to 9 times even more by chance if you keep a steady constant trigger pull/you can hear the bbs hit that plastic can like a hammer hiting so loud,the noise goes into the trees in the back ground…for a 400 fps pistol, its kind of raw and a little scarry,but i like it that much..{the only thing wrong is the Co2 lasts on 3 mags}MOST IMPORTANT IT’S DURABLE AND TOUGH AND ALL MY UMAREX GUNS CAN SIT FOR 2 TO 3 MOTHS with the Co2 in it without leaks and they shoot even more powerfull when these Umarex guns sit around for so long…RECOMEND UMAREX ALL THE WAY…
