Writing a review on a product bought through umarexoutlet.com is a first for me, but due to a purchase of Umarex 850M2 Pellet Gun, I thought that I needed to. After extensive research and a glowing review, I decided to go with a Umarex 850M. Although pricey, I thought the quality of reviews on it made it a worthwhile purchase. The pellet gun required a difficult to get 88/90gr CO2 bottle. I took several months before I received the CO2, and after following the instructions on how to operate the pellet gun, I loaded the pellets into the eight-round magazine. Shortly afterward, it jammed, making the magazine hard to remove, but after gently snugging it, the magazine came out. I looked for debris in the barrel and didn’t see any and did a retry, again it jammed. I then contact Umarex USA, which is headquartered in Arkansas, about the issue, which naturally required me to send the pellet gun to their workshop. This would require me to pay postage both ways, which aren’t cheap considering the size and the weight of the pellet gun. On forums, I have heard that jamming is sometimes an issue, and if it is the, then it shouldn’t be the customer that works out the bugs but done beforehand at the factory. At this point, I am contemplating writing off the pellet gun and purchasing a competitor.

This company has the worst customer support, my rifle started leaking. I just ask for an O ring and was told they have no extra parts. I ask for the information of the size so I could buy the correct one no reply. Be aware my gun lasted less than 8 months, awful company! Bad!

This is an awesome gun. without getting into PCP guns, it’s the best gun I could find. It’s the most accurate and the most powerful of any other gun that you may find. The sig sauer MCX that I have is nice, too, but this feels like a real precision tool. The sig is just as accurate, but won’t go through a tin can. Careful with this gun and set up a good trap and back stop. This gun is deadly and be sure and treat it as such. Not a toy, not a BB gun, this is lethal. It says so right on the side for good reason. If your yard or property is small, or you do not have a good place to shoot, may want to skip this gun. Get a Crosman P1 full auto. LOL
Even if my old .20cal Sheridan was “just as good”, this gun allows a scope and a tri pod or any other attachments. I was able to find a compensator online which helped with the noise, because it was loud.

Wasn’t sure if I should put this much money out for an “Air Rifle”. After sighting it in I couldn’t be happier. I do suggest getting a scope off the bat though.
