   Missing the patches and the piece to hold the patches and that’s the main reason I bought this kit. I would guess I was sent the old model when I purchased the new model kit. Very disappointed.

   It didn’t come with the patch pull through pieces instead it came with cleaning pellets that’s meant to be shot through the gun.

   Haven’t used any of the other tools so can’t review on those but the bore mop has exposed metal on the tip that could scratch your rifling

   Ordered this item as a cleaning tool for our air rifle, but as a new user and this being my first cleaning, I had expected some sort of instructions on how to properly use everything provided in this kit. Upon opening, I did not understand what to use each brush for and how to use it. Kit looks like it was made of good quality, and wish we could rate it higher, but it not at all first time user-friendly.

    Let start off I’m new to break barrel air guns. I have a fair amount of rim fire and center fire rifles. I’m 63 and have been cleaning those guns for the past 45 years.
    I just brought a Gamo Swarm Maxxim .177 G2 Quick-shot. First the kit didn’t come with any patches. It isn’t recommended to use the cleaning pellets cause of the baffling on the rifle. They recommend cocking the barrel a little bit so you can see the breach, I did that. It took me a few tries but I snaked the cleaning rod from the muzzle end down to the breach. With the Gamo G2 Quick-shot you have to remove the loading assembly so the cleaning rod exits the breach. You pop out 2 pins and you can access the barrel a lot easier.
    So in conclusion it serves the purpose. It would be a lot better on a single shot gun.

    I purchased this cleaning kit to use with my new Airgun. The picture shows a slotted attachment and round cleaning pads but they are not included in the package I rated this a three overall because of this. Otherwise it is a solid cleaning kit. Just frustrated that I had to purchase additional items to get a complete kit. It appears that Umarex has replaced the original kit with this one as I see the same picture as the one I included on several other websites and the kit pictured in the umarexoutlet.com listing shows out of stock on Umarex’s website and the newer kit is not listed.

    I bought this cleaning kit with the intention of using in on my recently acquired Umarex Origin. On the very first pull through the barrel the cable to brush connector popped off, with very little force leaving me to extract the brush. I am surprised Umarex put their name one this. Their air rifles are very good quality but his kit is just trash.

    I picked this kit up begrudgingly. I don’t like cleaning guns because a) most modern guns need very, very infrequent cleaning and b) over-cleaning is the #1 reason many barrels wear out ahead of their time. I also didn’t want to pay for a bunch of screwdriver bits that I saw as merely additional cost. (I have plenty bits of my own, after all!)

    Boy, was I wrong!

    Yes, I’ve used the cable to clear the barrel when I suspected a potential obstruction on an heirloom hand-me-down. And no, I haven’t used the swab more than once or twice. …but this kit is now an indispensable part of my airgun range bag. The screwdrivers are my go-to for adjusting sights or even opening the whole thing up. The cotton pellets sold me on their use and I turned around and bought a bunch more. (Which all for back nicely in this case.) My Pelgunoil fits behind the plastic insert that holds the tools. In short, this is a very compact one-stop place for anything I need 99% of the time for my airgun. You are NOT going to regret this purchase.
