   Opened up the envelope in which the pellets were mails to find that about 25% of them had spilled out. The plastic case that the pellets come with is horrible and, in my opinion, not reusable. You’ll more than likely need some small containers to transfer them to.

   When i got these pellets I was shocked at the quality. These pellets look like they were turned on a lath. I shot 3 groups of 5 for each kind at 15 yards. Every shoot touched the one before it. Then I went out to 30 yards no change at all. The fit in my umarex surge xt is perfect not to tight not to loose.

   After reading about the problems others had with the packaging, I used a scissors to, one at a time, cut open the end of each type of pellet and then dump them into a zip lock bag. Thanks for the heads up.

   What can I say except the made in USA pellets are very inconsistent in their grain weight, which effects how the pellet prints on a target. As I recall these pellets are made in Germany and have a consistent grain weight from pellet to pellet (or at least a tighter tolerance in mfg). RWS will always make a good product (unless someone else buys them out and quality goes to trash). This sample pack is good for testing which pellets your rifle digests best.

   You get to try many different good pellets. Get a small departmentalized plastic box to put them in and all will be great.

   Wish RWS (and other manufacturers) would offer samplers of only target pellets or only hunting pellets. Obviously Meisterkugelns are going to group better than Superpoints in almost every gun, but I’m also not going to use Meisterkugelns for hunting chipmunks at 40 yards. I’d rather be able to compare 5 pellets made for the same purpose, apples to apples.

   The pellets themselves are extremely high accurate, classic RWS quality.

    Nice selection of high quality pellets. It’s fun to try different styles in the Daisy and the Crossman.
    However – the package designer must be a maniac trying to win a Darwin Award. Don’t bother opening the 5 pack. Instead just cut a hole at the top of the tube, pour the pellets into a film canister or test tube.

    I have a Diana 48 and it used to shoot Meisterkuglen (wad cutter) pellets into a dime at 50′. Ran out of pellets from and old tin and the pellets in new tin shoot about an inch group. Bought this sampler pack in hopes of finding a pellet that will shoot more accurately. Well the pointed hunting pellet shot inside an inch but was stringing vertically (?} And the Meisterkuglen shot about a dime group or less. My old tin and new tin and these, the finish all look different. Thats really aggravating. Im bout done messing with air rifles and pellets. Only reason I bought it was for squirrel control and its good at that but you cant get a good clean kill. They jump a foot in the air and run off most of the time. Going to get a supressor for one of my 22’s.
