   You will get about fifty shots before you notice a drop in power but man is this thing fun nice tight groups if you pull the charge handle Everytime you will have a smoother trigger pull if not you just have a very sturdy trigger like 8lbs compared to maybe 3lbs if you charge it slapped a rail and a red dot sight on it and it’s a squirrel killing tack driver

   UPDATE: Feb 20: OK, although I love the accuracy of this gun, after trying to use it on squirrels…..and the pellets literally bouncing off from about 40 feet….. I ended up sending it back. For a plinker its awesome, but that’s where it ends. If I can’t even kill a squirrel from 40 feet, it’s just a nice toy. I’m going to try a break barrel with more gusto, and see how that pans out. UPDATE: 28 Jan 20: Today I was going to do a little plinking, only to find the C02 was empty (just installed new ones yesterday and only shot about 15 rounds). I replaced the caplets, only to hear a slight hissing when installed. I removed those, checked everything, oil the seal and the new C02 caplets, and installed them….. more hissing, and before I could even get a full magazine inserted, all the C02 was gone. After more then an hour of investigating, it appears there is a crack or break somewhere internally with the C02 system. I’ve run less then 1,000 rounds through it, so don’t know if it’s just happenstance, or poor quality. Luckily I’m still within the return period, so am sending it back for a replacement. I’ll run rounds through the next one and see if it does the same thing….. if so, I’ll have to return it for a refund and forget this gun. UPDATE: VERY IMPORTANT TIP…. this rifle doesn’t give you much notice when the C02 is getting low…..just a strange sound….and a pellet lodged in the barrel! Not a big deal, just pull the magazine, and take a cleaning rod (of the correct diameter) down the barrel from the muzzle…..the pellet pushes out fairly easily…. then put in new C02, and off you go! This is without a doubt the BEST pellet rifle I have ever owned or seen!! EXACT weight, look, and feel of an actual Ruger 10/22 rifle. OK….. about it: It’s C02 operated, and takes TWO C02 cartridges at a time…. they go in under the butt plate, first one faces forward, second one faces rearward. The butt place has a built in wrench to open/close the gas plug. The rotary magazine is great! It’s so much fun…..you need to order extra mags (I did, and waiting for them to arrive.) Out of the box I installed the scope mount/plate (not included/purchased separately), and an old Simmons 4×32 scope I had in the gun cabinet. I sighted it in, with only 6 rounds using Crosman Magnum Premier Domed Pellets, then settled in to see how it would do. (see photos) Super accurate, and even better….CONSISTENT accuracy! Usually specific guns prefer/shoot better with a given type/brand of ammo. This gun shoots whatever you feed it the same! (although I did find the accuracy was slight more consistent with the Crossman Premier domed pellets) Seating depth when placing the pellets in the magazine is a BIG KEY to accuracy. So take your time and ensure you seat the pellets. In recent weeks I have tried several air/C02 rifles, and this is the ONLY one that I consider accurate enough to keep! If you like/enjoy pellet rifles……THIS IS THE ONE TO GET!! Now….watch out all the squirrels and gophers around my place!!!! 🙂
