   To the iconic H&K MP5. Takes 1 CO2 cartridge loaded behind the brace, keeping the slim magazine looking realistic. Mag holds 40 BB’s – but take my advice… buy another one (or two). It’s quite accurate and a blast in full-auto fun mode. I loved it so much I bought two – one for each residence. Fits in a briefcase – Just sayin’.

   Accuracy isn’t terrible, but I don’t necessarily like how cheaply made it really is. Compared to my other air rifles, the mp5 Simi auto isn’t my choice of pick.

   I used a laser bore scope to set the site, installed the mag full of bb’s, then pierced the cartridge and took aim. I pulled that trigger over and over again and just kept sending them down into the target, and once the mag was empty it stopped just like a real gun. This thing was fun! I did this several times and just felt the stress melt away as I unloaded each magazine over and over again. It looks very real, it feels real…it’s not all plastic and cheap, and it fires really well. You will not regret buying this!

   Ok, I had written a review previously that I want to retract immediately!! My main gripes with this gun were the horrific sights, it’s terrible inaccuracy, the lack of any sort of rail system, and the fact that the pistol grip felt like some little plastic toy you’d buy at the dollar store. Probably my biggest gripe was loading the CO2 because it requires a bit of shenanigans. In my previous review I complained about everything. I take it all back. First off, with some lengthy umarexoutlet.com searching I found a picatinny rail designed specially for the real version of this gun and it fit like a dream. UTG MP5 Bi-directional Picatinny Mount, Low Profile That allowed me to get a dot sight which helped accuracy an almost ridiculous amount UTG 3.8″ ITA Red/Green CQB Dot Sight with Integral Mount. The built-in sights are truly atrocious, what a difference the dot sight makes!! I ordered a Hogue grip sleeve New Hogue Grips Rubber Black Hand-All Universal Full 17000 High Quality Excellent Performance which eliminated the pistol grip feeling flimsy and gave the gun a much more rugged look – though if I’m honest, I think a different model sleeve might have fit a tad better but not so much so that I’d go through the trouble of returning the one I have. If I could change the foregrip this thing would be perfect!!

   I’ve never had a problem with my pdw, it takes standard 12 gram c02 and .177 bb’s and hits at 500+psi in +80° and under 425 psi in -70°. It works for man hunt battles but beware, it hits hard enough to go through the skin at close range (0′ to 15′) so be careful with this weapon. I use me Winchester m14 dual c02 at 150+ feet from target and it hits hard enough to send my enemy scattering for the trees. My pdw is my secondary weapon in these games. This pdw takes the true mp5 k scope mount and also any aftermarket parts like the forward grip. All found on umarexoutlet.com. Be safe and stay alive out there. Now it has been 3 years, this bb pistol or pdw is still killing it! I’ve cept up with cleaning and oiling also slight maintenance. I’ll post more pics soon, I’m getting another one so I can “deck it out” with all the goodies. Stay safe, stay alive out there.

    Very good blend of quality and price. It’s not a 1 to 1 replica, but for the price it feels good.

    Shoots pretty well too. Very powerful. Highly recommend a speed loader for this as loading the small .177 BB’s into this by hand is very difficult.

    Additionally, I’d recommend getting another magazine for a backup.

    Finally, I was somewhat disappointed It didn’t have a fully automatic firing mode, but that’s listed on the page already so it’s technically my fault for not reading it. However, the actual gun itself does fire fully automatic.

    I’m happy with this purchase.

    Fantastic little plinker, a lot of power , very accurate, and surprisingly conservative CO2 usage. Only wish it had a 3 round burst or auto capability. Definitely a lot of fun!!
