With good pellets, this thing is unbelievable. Own several pellet guns, this is the only one we use now. .22 cal is the perfect size. We put a better scope on it. Smacking quarters consistently at 50 yards from a bench. Excellent air rifle!

I finally got fed up with the varmints in our yard – they figured out the no kill traps and just plain don’t give a ****. As much as I hated it, I resorted to elimination. I also bought two targets to sight this in and after about 10 min I had it dialed in to hit a 1/2” at about 100’ regularly. Both targets available here on umarexoutlet.com (seen in pictures) Using crossman destroyer pellets everything has been one shot one kill. The one negative on this rifle is the trigger. It has a relatively hard pull and quick break. As others have mentioned, the scope is surprisingly good for something that is included. Update 6/22: I’ve had this rifle for some time now and stand by my rating. With a good hollow point pellet, nothing in my back yard stands a chance. It’s a great one shot rifle.

Very good varmit gun, it’s pretty heavy and very well built. It’s not terribly loud either but it is noticeable to neighbors. There’s an automatic safety that pushes toward you when you prime the pump, you must tick it off each time before a shot. I’ve gotten accurate shots up to 100 feet, the scope is a pain in the ass to zero though. It has fake knobs that screw off to adjust a flat plastic piece that is soft and will get damaged if you use pliers to adjust. The iron sights are easy to adjust and are pretty accurate, even though my rear is canted slightly it’s much more reliable than the scope. It’s a good scope, don’t get me wrong. It just doesn’t stay zeroed for long and is a pain in the ass like I said. You’re probably going to need a second shot occasionally because of this and I’ve taken to reloading very fast after I get a hit, just in case I have to put a more fatal shot in. It has plenty of power to kill, just don’t rely on the scope if it’s zoomed in very far you will need to rezero anytime you change anything.

I can’t give this a proper review because the sighting instructions are so bad. I have never owned a gun before so I have no historical knowledge. The instructions are so vague so that they must apply to every model of scope they make I guess. Absolutely horrible!

I haven’t been a shooter in many years, and this is my first break-barrel air rifle. The ol’ pumpmaster 760 was not doin’ the trick on the rats under the bird feeders so I figured I better upgrade to keep things humane. This rifle feels surprisingly heavy and well made to me. I like the texture on the stock. Low cocking effort, nice sights. I haven’t mounted the scope and probably won’t. I shoot rats from my front porch from about 15 ft so I set up a target at that range. Free standing, with no support, here are my first 30 pellets, right outta the box with no adjustments, as you can see, I won’t be missing any rats. I totally acknowledge that I’m shooting at very short range but seems like it should do what I bought it to do. umarexoutlet.com shipped it in a box 4-5 times bigger than it needed to be, so it banged around inside that box, and the manufacturer’s box was broken open. The gun doesn’t appear to be damaged but, geez, umarexoutlet.com.
