   Used the mag for the first time yesterday. It didnt see much use till we set down the AEG’s for a few rounds of pistol only combat. It was a blast in 3v3. The mag was excellent for laying rounds down range when moving to the next tree for cover. Though the mag was fun to use and looked amazing in my gun it did have a few issues. At one point i was having difficulty inserting the mag. It may have just been the way i inserted the co2 but it was a bit troubling. Also their were a few times the bb’s got stuck in the mag resulting in me just firing air. This could have been due to the cold weather or the fact that the spring is exposed near the bottom of the mag. You also dont want to load more then the allotted 27 bb’s into the mag or it may cause some spring issues. Overall the mag looks and feels amazing and is really fun to use. I would recommend to get one. Any more may be a hastle to carry as most mag pockets are designed for the noral sized mag.

   I bought the 27 round mag for my elite force 1911 government, and at first I was worried it wouldn’t lock into place, or was too long, but it arrived at fit perfectly. Have yet to shoot it, but if you are concerned with compatibility it is likely compatible with any co2 elite force 1911, of which there are several.

   As for this magazine, I have two and they both perform flawlessly. No leaking or other issues. Just follow the directions to apply a small drop of silicone oil to the tip of each new CO2 cartridge before installing it. This keeps the seal from drying out and hardening.

   That said, do not buy this as a returned item (“new in package”) from AMZN. Someone removed the feed lip from it and then returned it. It comes from the mfg. in a clear hanger package, but AMZN didn’t visually compare the returned item to an unopened new item to confirm it’s the same item and not missing any parts. Thankfully, I also ordered the rebuild kit from Umarex so I have a functioning magazine that was still cheaper than a brand new one.

   This magazine has an impressive built, especially since it’s all metal. The weight brings it as close to the real gun’s weight as possible which is a good thing for those of us that don’t like firing almost weightless guns. The spring is questionable though as they seem to have not built it to fit tight and flush inside the casing so you’ll notice the tip either crooked, poking out, etc. once the magazine is almost full. It says 27 rounds max, but it seems like you can squeeze a few extra BBs in to make it an even 30 if need be. With these mags a slow leak noticed from onset has turned into a complete failure of the valve. This was with minimal use. Unable to repair the piercing valves where the leaks are since they are probably glued in or the threads naturally became stuck over time.
