Ordered this before getting the fence completed, because a neighbor lets their two labrador mix mutts roam at will despite my compaints, and I didn’t want to kill or seriously injure them (the dogs ;-P ). While I never had the opportunity to use it for its intended purpose (originally thought pepper balls would be best, but decided that with paintballs the dogs coming home with extra color might get the owner’s attention AND I’d be able to prove WHERE they were tagged), I’m confident that had they been, they would NOT have returned.

I set up a target on a piece of corrigated cardboard, and the .68 caliber rubber practice rounds easily penetrated it from 60′ away with no modifications to the gun, so I would NOT recommend using those against anything you don’t want to injure or kill.

Grip is scratchy but other than that it’s a great marker. Definitely needs the upgrade kit for decent power tho.

Without the increased jule upgrade valve this pistol is simply incapable of shooting 68 caliber riot balls more than 5 yards before they drop to the ground. I tried using lighter balls but they just fly out and all directions. If the 50 caliber pistol isn’t legal in your state save up your money and buy the semi automatic TFE4 68 cal shotgun, and buy one with the upgraded valve kit so it’s capable of firing heavier balls

Not ideal for paintball. Went to an arena with field paint only. Paintballs fit ok, but some rolled out of the cylinder. Chronograph read 175 ish fps on a freshly punctured umarex brand Co2. Can get 25 good shots with one canister, maybe 30. Paint would occasionally break in the barrel causing the rest of the paintballs to be wildly inaccurate. The product is very well built. If you really want to use this for paintball, make sure to find a good brand that works with this gun, otherwise you would be laying this on the field and coming back to pick it up after the match ends.
