I’ve maybe shot 1500 rounds through this amazing air rifle so far. Once zeroed in it’s a tack driver. Depending on what type of pellet. Gamo pellets was all over. It was crazy and couldn’t really get her to run but I can tell you for just plain ole good fun I was running crossman 14.3 hollow points though it and I was shooting dime size or less groups all day long it was a blast. Definitely considering the .25 or the .30 but the .22 is amazing and it’s a powerhouse. I’m definitely glad I got this rifle and am definitely getting another. GET IT YOU WON’T BE SORRY

It is powerful
Haven’t tried slugs yet, but just ordered a half dozen different ones to try.
Yes. It shoots great to 100 yards.
No so far it’s not shooting sub 1 moa at 100 yards, but haven’t tuned it yet for any specific projectile. Just cleaned the barrel and shot what I had for pellets.
Get a good scope. I am using a Monstrum G3 5-25X50 on adjustable rings. Can hit a dime at 50 yards. Can’t wait to hunt with it.
Wrapped the air tube with a fake carbon fiber wrap and added a stick on felt in the stock between the tube and stock, stuck to the stock. This really stiffened the stock up for my bipod.

So when I first got this air gun I had tried to air it up and there was air leaking out of the barrel and I couldn’t figure it out but I found out that if you un screw the bottle rom the gun and put about 150psi – 250psi in it and then quickly screw it back on that it fixes the problem where air is leaking from the barrel but I will say I was using a hand pump so that might have something to do with it but I figured I would just warn anyone who is going to buy this with the intention of using a pump to fill the gun for the first time to watch out for this problem other than that the gun works perfectly

Air Cylinder leaks air, should have never bought this rifles. Don’t believe what you see on YouTube! 1 truthful reviewer on YouTube after his initial review, gave a second review and stated the air cylinder issues. This is not an isolated issue with the Umerax Gauntlet 2 and it doesn’t matter what caliber, the air cylinders leak air, some much faster than others. Unfortunately, I feel like an idiot because I bought a .22 and a .25 caliber and both have the exact same problem. .22 caliber goes from 4500psi to 1000 psi within 5 days, .25 caliber last a bit longer. I’m not blaming the seller because this is a Umerax issue, Gauntlet 2 PCP air rifles are made in China, that tells you the whole story.

I bought this after doing a lot of research about PCP air rifles. I wanted to upgrade from my .22 cal break barrel air rifle to something that would allow me to hunt larger game. I found the SL30 was really well rated and was a great price compared to the cost of getting into other PCP rifles of the same caliber (bullet size and quality). I got this is and the only thing I did before going to shoot it, was to adjust the trigger to my liking. There’s tons of youtube videos out there to show mods for this rifle but honestly, it’s really great right out of the box. I took it to the range with several different types of slugs and pellets to see which one it likes (If you didn’t know, each gun can/will like different brands and weights) and found that I could easily shoot 1/2″ groups at 50 yards with this thing. I sighted it in at 50 and pushed back my targets to 100 yards. After I found the drop, I was shooting 12ga shot guns shells off a 2×4 nearly every single shot. This thing is incredible!! You won’t be disappointed if you choose to go with this air rifle.
