Believe me when I say that there are lot of rifles in this price bracket That don’t look and or perform as good as this one. As far as performance it’s a 177 nitro Not a springer. And it does shoot really loud on the 1st couple of shots but don’t judge the rifle because of that it will get quieter that’s just all the oil and grease burning out of there. Some people clean the rifle barrel etc. before they shoot. This way no loud noise or just only 1 or 2 shots instead of the serveral shots that it usually takes. This is called dieseling. The air rifle is powerful and In in my opinion is considered an adult arrival or a very responsible older teenager rifle, preferably with adult supervision. It is a little on the heavy side, sort of advertising it’s quality. Which you are already know when look at the rifle. Finish is Nicer than a lot of woodstocks.. To the point where you wanna keep it mostly on the rack and use the other ones so you don’t scratch it. I want this rifle from umarexoutlet.com A year ago And it wasn’t more expensive than it is now which is kind of ironic considering inflation. And it was still worth the price I paid. Now I see it for way less Makes me almost Want to buy another one.

This is actually a very accurate pellet gun. It’s has great accuracy on both the iron sites and the scope.
While trying to reload the rifle I was opening the break barrel and one of the 2 bolts that hold the barrel in sheared off. This caused the composite piece that holds the barrel in place split from bolt to bolt.
If it wasn’t for that issue I would still be out shooting still.

I love it, easy to use, but the scope is so-so, I have to use Kentucky windage to hit my target if you know what I mean. I recommend this if you are buying for the first time.

Great rifle just ridiculous laws in some states.

Really good power. Sounds more like a 22 rifle for the first ten rounds or so, then mellows out. A little hard to break down at first but gets easier after about 30 or so rounds. I would suggest not sighting the scope before fifty rounds or so, at which point you might want to check the tightness of your scope mounts. The Umarex Forge, is one of the better .177 guns on the market for the money. Well made, powerful, worth the $$$. Once the scope is sighted in it is very accurate within 25 to 30 yards and will shoot through an empty Gatorade bottle at that distance, which is some pretty tough plastic.
