Not smoothly operating. Very jerky to pump the gun. Could have been mine was a defect probably not properly oiled at factory.
I return it because I didn’t want to deal with it being new and all. It should have worked out of the box. I have a small array of air guns.
If I had problems, than so will some kid gets it for their birthday is going to be frustrated.

This is the second umarex product that I have bought and both broke in fairly short time. This air rife I bought two years ago to handle a woodpecker problem, I’ve only used a dozen or so times. I took out the other day and went to pump it, and the air just leaked out of the cylinder. Hopefully their fire arms are better built than their less lethal counter part. Which I have never owned. After my experience with Umarex I won’t own anything under their name again.
