   Not the correct replacement for most of the AEG in for A-1 stole guns. The hole for the selector plate gears are smaller as pictured than the gearbox I received you would have to have gears matching this gearbox that I bought that would have larger hubs on the gears. Like another reviewer said looks like you need to do some more research before you places for sale

   Bought this to replace the factory one in my g2 lancer tactical m4. I had a big game coming up. Assembled everything. Got it all adjusted right. It worked great. Killed a fresh battery after the install. Then on game day, it lasted about half the day before I could smell electrical fire. I looked down and saw smoke rolling out of the trigger area. I pulled the battery real quick,but the motor was toast. I put that same battery in my backup gun. That gun ran the whole day. So it wasn’t a battery problem. Weather was warm and dry. Don’t buy this.

   So I decided to remove all the stock internals from the gearbox and put SHS 13:1 gears, a Perun Hybrid V2 mosfet, aftermarket air nozzle, tappet plate, piston, piston head, cylinder, cylinder head, trigger, and an M130 spring. The only issue I had is that the bearings broke and had to replace them with bushings. The gearbox shell handled the reps, and I would recommend this gearbox to learn and do some of your own modifications to your AEG.

   At first site I really didn’t know what I was getting myself into buying this gearbox but when I was able to convert it into my valken asl mod m I knew it was pretty easy to replace and on top of having a over better feel to my valken. For anyone skeptical on purchasing for your Aeg build I would buy it because no matter what it’s a learning experience and overall is fun to see how far my build has come.

   If you are looking for a “drop in” gearbox. You might be in for a surprise when you put your motor back in an hear the high pitch squealing noise. One would just say “adjust motor height” but you find that you are double firing, over cycling or even slower cycles. Smelling burning motors and hot batteries. So .. it is a must to open the gear box and check that your motor is meshing the bevel gear to your motor’s pinion gear. I give this 5 stars for quality but one must know how to shim gears.

   I needed to replace my old gear box and decided to give this one a try. As soon as I had it installed I gave it a test fire. It functioned ONCE and began smoking with a dead trigger. It doesn’t make any sense to me. The motor is new and worked on the old gun. The battery is standard and works in other guns.

   It fits weird, and I wouldn’t recommend getting this if you’re not too experienced with modding your lower. It says “elite force”, but in reality its “Vegaforce”. It seems like an elite force copy, but I could be wrong. The parts are solid and well made, but I wouldn’t trust the fact that they’re “elite force” or any other true brand name. This is good if you’re experienced and going for a more solid build for a price, but I would recommend just going to another retailer such as Evike.
   When I received the product, I noticed that there were some tool marks, damaged wires, and there was some electrical tape on the black lead to the motor. We all make mistakes, so I won’t say that every one of these will arrive like this. Definitely would’ve used if I was going for a CQB build.
   EDIT:
   I ordered a replacement, and everything came in and it worked fine. However, after about 500 rounds the MOSFET decided to stop working, therefore I had to trigger response. This seems to be a common problem with the gearboxes. Just ordered a replacement because I like them a lot.
